Estas graciosas figuras fueron un regalo de un amigo y colega coleccionista (¡qué detallazo!), y sencillamente me encantaron.
Pertenecen a una serie de manga (1997) que fue convertida posteriormente en serie de animé (1999) con un éxito impresionante, realmente deseo verla...
Trata sobre un gato normal que cuida a los ancianos de su vecindario de la amenaza de los ladrones, pero es transformado por el malvado Dr. Go en un cyborg, con el fin de conquistar el mundo.
Sin embargo, Kuro-Chan se rebela para defender a los ancianos del poderoso ejército de cyborgs fabricado por su creador.
Estas piezas son de 3" de alto aproximadamente, en PVC, con muy buen detalle y trabajo de pintura; sus brazos y piernas son flexibles; las armas que portan en uno de sus brazos, sus manos y pies, son intercambiables (¿ya mencioné que me gustaron demasiado?).
Son curiosas entre otras cosas, porque se trata de versiones para América Latina, con información en español; pero son fabricadas por Tomy (Takara) de Japón e importadas por Hasbro.

These funny figures were a gift of a friend and collector colleague (what a great gift!) and I just love them.
They belong to a manga series (1997) which was converted later in anime series (1999) with a tremendous success; I really want to watch it...
This series is about a normal cat that take care of the elders in his neighborhood, against the thieves, but he’s transformed into cyborg by the evil Dr. Go, in order to conquer the world.
However, Kuro-Chan decided to reveal himself to defend the elders from the menace of the powerful cyborg army made by his creator.
These pieces are 3" high approximately, in PVC, with very good detail and paint job, arms and foot are flexible; the guns in one of them arms, as the arms and legs themselves are interchangeable (did I mention that I like them too much?).
They are curious, because they are Latin-American versions, with information in Spanish, but they where made by Tomy (Takara) from Japan and imported by Hasbro.
