ENGLISH Thanks to a friend of mine, fellow collector (I already have a pair of publications in my blog, about figures belonging to him) and comic fan: Ricardo Contreras (greetings parse!), I can introduce to all of you this formidable piece.
For many, Onslaught will be an unknown character and it’s no wonder, because his creation, which was the work of Scott Lobdell and Mark Waid, is recent (1996) and his appearance affected the whole Marvel universe.
In fact, his influence reach even the future, in the post-nuclear disaster age. He’s an arch-villain, one of the most powerful that has ever existed in Marvel...
A mysterious entity, that results from the union of the minds of professor Charles Xavier and Magneto, with incredible psionic and magnetic powers, which initially existed in an astral dimension, but later manifested into the physical world.
He has such a vast power, that even superheroes and villains from the Marvel universe should join their powers to try to defeat him, something they couldn’t do entirely. A fascinating and complex story that the Marvel followers must know.
The figure itself, which seemingly shows his third transformation / evolution (second physical), is made in PVC and resin, it has a very decent size of 8", 27 points of articulation, excellent paint job and a respectable weight. The parts to assemble this awesome figure, come with the six villain figures that make up this set (of which I’ll publish some of them later): Abomination, Blackheart, Lady Deathstrike, Green Goblin, Loki and Pyro.
indeed this creature take the colour scheme of magneto, i guess that his creators take that decision... in this transformation, the professor Xavier’s mind was rescued, so the Magneto’s mind prevailed... ur comments will always be appreciated ! thx
The character to me is more of a crab like alien. It's pretty detail for an 8" and it sure looks mean and evil. I guess the flat and large-surface-area foot does keep the heavy upper torso better balanced.
yup, the figure is heavy and build to last... i’m in agreement with u, to b an 8" piece is very well detailed... when a i took a second look to it, i liked it so much (the 1st time, i just ignore it LOL...)
I've heard from Marvel Legends collectors that this figure is a nightmare to stand. He's always falling down because of the small feet, thin legs and huge body combination.
I don't collect that line, but he does look very good.
hey Freak ! well that’s true, but it’s not a big problem... u can say the same bout Gundam Strike + I.W.S.P. or Strike Rouge (for example), they can’t stand fitly without a base, but as them, this Onslaught worths while actually, i must say is a great figure

My alternate blog in WordPress
From now, I will be publishing basically the same contents in both blogs, but for reviews before March 18, 2019, you must read my Blogger blog...
I’m a professional graphic designer and a restful collector, but above all: I’m someone who doesn’t take for granted anything, just because someone else says so. I think this hobby goes way beyond buying stuff here and there: anybody with money can buy collectibles, but not anybody becomes collector by doing so. I think as well that this hobby is, more than anything, about knowledge, about making sense of what happens around us and just like any other kind of knowledge, if it’s devoid of ethics, is worthless. I like to address topics around collectionism, including, but not limited to: history, industry, forums, groups, collectors, distributors, sellers, etc. I’m fully aware that criticism is essential for our hobby: everything is susceptible of improvement and we the collectors demand quality, but the industry around it doesn’t necessarily shares that vision. After all, well-targeted criticism always helps to detect failures and correct them, it’s like critical thinking: it helps you see things as they really are and not just as how they are presented to you. If you are someone who likes to look beyond the surface, welcome, if that is not the case, continue at your own risk...
