Bikini Bottom Undersea Party 3818 Building Toy - SpongeBob SquarePants Nickelodeon TV Series by Lego

Yo pensaba que la idiotez era una de las más horribles plagas que infestan este mundo torcido y asfixiante... 

Pero no hace mucho, encontré algo que podría ser mucho peor: el absurdo. 

Cuando ves un idiota o alguien haciendo algo idiota a tu alrededor, es bastante fácil reconocerlo y por lo tanto, si tienes un micrón de sentido común, tu dirás: "lárgate lo más lejos posible de mi vista... 

No necesito algo tan abyecto como tú, a mi lado... 

Tú le das un mal nombre a la humanidad y en serio, no voy a perder mi tiempo con una escoria como tú... 

¡Solo esfúmate y déjame en paz!"... 

O algo más lindo, con el fin de deshacerte de semejante fastidio... 

Pero en el caso del absurdo, incluso las mentes más brillantes (como la del anfitrión de este humilde blog) sucumbirán ante esta amenaza... 

Encontrarás esto bastante perturbador (obviamente si hay una traza de inteligencia allá afuera), porque el absurdo luce como la vida real la mayoría de veces y si no eres cuidadoso, terminarás en una condición tan deplorable, ¡que incluso los imbéciles se lamentarán por tu causa!... 

Tú preguntarás, ¿qué tiene que ver todo esto con esta publicación?... 

(Eso puede ser una buena señal para tí; después de todo, aquellos más allá de la imbecilidad, no serían capaces de preguntar sobre eso...)

Y mi respuesta para dicha pregunta es: ¡todo!... 

En mi opinión personal, BobEsponja PantalonesCuadrados es todo acerca del absurdo... 

A primera vista, pensaba que la idiotez era el tema principal de esta serie de TV, porque los personajes e historias a su alrededor, son una entretenida oda a la vida de los idiotas. 

¡Pero estaba equivocado, yo estaba bastante equivocado y lo admito!... 

Estaba tan inmerso en este programa, que estaba cortando mi vínculo con la realidad y cuando finalmente me liberé a mí mismo de esta adicción, estuve devastado por un descubrimiento: ¡casi todas las personas a mi alrededor estaban actuando como los personajes de BobEsponja PantalonesCuadrados!... 

Estoy todavía en una "terapia de desintoxicación" y gracias a mi afición, estoy volviendo a la cordura... 

Por supuesto, hay toneladas de Bobs, Patricios, don Cangrejos, Calamardos y Arenitas allá afuera, pero yo simplemente mantengo mi distancia... 

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA... 

Parte de la terapia es este imponente set de Fiesta Bajo el Mar en Bikini Bottom de Lego. ¡Fue un regalo de una de mis hermanas, lo que es absolutamente genial!... 

En realidad, creo que no había otra forma de conseguirlo, ya que este set es muy caro y hasta donde yo sé, no está disponible en las tiendas especializadas de mi ciudad natal... 

La reputación de Lego es tan buena, que la alta calidad en materiales, acabados, accesorios y presentación está fuera de discusión. 

El set completo incluye: la casa del BobEsponja (una piña... ¿Podrías pensar algo más absurdo en medio del mar?), la casa de Calamardo, la tornamesa de Patricio con un par de enormes bafles, una caseta de jugos, un sube y baja, una rueda-rueda y cinco minifiguras (BobEsponja, Patricio, Calamardo, Gary y la sra. Puff). 

Desafortunadamente mi set no incluía la casa de Calamardo y algunos stickers estaban perdidos, pero el resto de cosas estaban completas.

Lego pone un gran esfuerzo en el factor diversión y este set no decepciona en lo absoluto, al menos no a un coleccionista adulto como yo. 

Todo tiene un montón de detalles y truquitos, está lleno de color y los tampos no tienen falla, además algunos elementos tienen movimiento y/o articulación, como la casa de BobEsponja (que es plegable y la puerta principal puede abrirse también), la tornamesa (los discos giran), la caseta de jugos (un gabinete con puerta transparente se puede abrir), el sube y baja, la rueda-rueda y obviamente las minifiguras. 

Me tomo alrededor de 2 horas ensamblar el set completo (con los descansos regulatorios) y esto es solo parte de la diversión, porque el juego continua una y otra vez después de armado, lo que te mantiene lejos de la idiotez o el absurdo, ¡que es mucho peor!.. 

Amo 8:9-12 "Acontecerá en aquel día, dice JEHOVÁ el SEÑOR, que haré que se ponga el sol a mediodía, y cubriré de tinieblas la tierra en el día claro. I thought that the idiocy was one of the most hideous plagues which infests this crooked and suffocating world... 

But not so long ago, I found something that could be even worse: the absurdity. 

When you see an idiot or someone doing something idiot around you, is quite easy to recognize it and hence, if you have a micron of common sense, you will say: "get outta the hell away from my sight... 

I don’t need something as abject as you by my side... 

You give humanity a bad name and seriously, I will not waste my time with a slag like you... 

Just get lost and leave me alone!"... 

Or something more cute, in order to get rid of such nuisance... 

But in the case of absurdity, even the most brilliant minds (like that of the host of this humble blog) will succumb to this threat... 

You will find it quite disturbing (obviously if there is a trace of intelligence out there), because the absurdity looks like the real life most of the times and if you’re not careful, you will end in such deplorable condition, than even the morons shall wail because of you!... 

You may ask, what all of this has to do with this publication?... 

(That could be a good signal for you; after all, those beyond imbecility would not be able to ask about that...) 

And my answer for such question is: everything!... 

In my personal opinion, SpongeBob SquarePants is all about absurdity... 

At first sight, I thought that the idiocy was the main topic in this TV Series, because the characters and stories around them, are an entertaining ode to the idiots’ life. 

But I was wrong, I was pretty wrong and I admit it!... 

I was so immersed in this show, that I was cutting my link with reality and when finally I released myself of this addiction, I was devastated by a finding: almost all the people around me were acting just like the characters of SpongeBob SquarePants!... 

I’m still in a "detox therapy" and thanks to my hobby, I’m returning to sanity... 

Of course, there are tons of Bobs, Patricks, mr. Krabbs, Squidwards and Sandy Cheeks out there, but I just keep distance... 

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL... 

Part of the therapy is this awesome Bikini Bottom Undersea Party set by Lego. 

It was a gift from one of my sisters, which is absolutely cool!... 

Actually, I think there was no other way to get it, since this set is very expensive and as far as I know, is not available in the specialized stores of my hometown... 

The reputation of Lego is so good, that the high quality in materials, finishings, accessories and presentation is out of discussion. 

The complete set includes: the SpongeBob’s house (a pineapple... Could you think in something more absurd in the middle of the sea?), the Squidward’ house, the Patrick’s turntable with a pair of huge boomboxes, a juice bar, a seesaw, a merry-go-round and five minifigures (SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward, Gary and mrs. Puff). 

Unfortunately my set didn’t include the Squidward’ house and some stickers were missing, but the rest of stuff were complete. 

Lego puts a great effort in the fun factor and this set doesn’t disappoint at all, at least not to an adult collector like me. 

Everything has a lot of nice details and gimmicks, is plenty of color and the pad printing job is flawless, also some elements have movement and/or articulation, like the SpongeBob house (which is foldable and the main door can be opened too), the turntable (the discs rotate), the juice bar (a cabinet with clear door can be opened), the seesaw, the merry-go-round and obviously the minifigures. 

It took me about 2 hours to assemble the whole set (with the regulatory breaks) and this is only part of the fun included with this set, because the game continues over and over again after assembled, which keeps you away from the idiocy or the absurdity, that is much worse!...

Tal vez solo estoy divagando, pero hay una especie de culto descarado a la idiotez, y no puedo dejar de preguntarme ¿qué está detrás de esa aberración cultural?... 

Si echas un rápido vistazo a YouTube, entonces encontrarás algo así como cien millones de videos haciendo un nutrido tributo a la gente estúpida, haciendo cosas estúpidas, para entretener a su estúpida audiencia (y ellos continuan clickeando y clickeando en este preciso momento así que, con optimismo, no te sentirás compelido a hacerlo también, solo para esparcir la locura y llegar a ser otra estadística... ¡HA!). 

Pero en otros medios de comunicación, el asunto no parece ser mejor y es al menos tan contagioso como el virus zombie más agresivo imaginado por reputados creadores de horror / ciencia ficción de todo el mundo (o quizás ya creado por un laboratorio genético corrompido, con ínfulas de ser otro Umbrella Corp.)... 

Ahora, ¿por qué las personas actúan como imbéciles?... 

¿Está el mundo entero condenado por una horda de tarados y qué está haciendo la gente con un montón de sentido común (como yo) para erradicar esta epidemia?... 

Para responder la primera pregunta rápidamente, diría: porque ellos pueden y lo disfrutan, ya sea porque tienen esa vocación o porque son demasiado imbéciles para pensar sobre eso... 

Para la segunda, diría: sí, este mundo está "algo" condenado, pero la idiotez es solo uno de los problemas involucrados, ahora mismo estoy denunciando, advirtiendo sobre esta plaga y si no estás infectado, entonces podrías ayudarme (usando tu cerebro para encontrar la solución, eso no duele, de hecho, abofeteando personas a diestra y siniestra, como una medida para hacerlos reaccionar, temporalmente, por supuesto)... 

Sin embargo, para ser honestos, un poquitín de estupidez, de vez en cuando, no es tan mala, especialmente cuando la usas como "válvula de presión" para deshacerte de la estresante rutina de tu vida... 

Hablando de imbéciles, hay una serie de TV supuestamente para la audiencia infantil, pero muy exitosa entre los adolescentes e incluso entre la gente adulta, conocida como BobEsponja PantalonesCuadrados... 

Tan raro como suena, esta publicación podría ser una suerte de homenaje al segundo personaje más recordado de la serie que estoy mencionando: Patricio Estrella. 

En un mundo de imbéciles, él es el emperador, llevando el significado de esta palabra más allá de los límites conocidos... 

Él es LERDO (sí, con letras mayúsculas) y difícilmente puede articular algo intelegible (aunque él, de hecho, actúa como alguien inteligente en unos pocos episodios, solo para hacer más notoria su enorme estupidez)... 

¡AH!... ¡Pero él no es solo un ignorante espantoso, NO!... 

También fue dotado con una obesidad mórbida, una total carencia de modales o destrezas para hacer las tareas más sencillas y una pereza épica... 

Aunque, casi me olvido de otro personaje retratado en esta publicación: el sr. Eugenio H. Krabbs, otro "tipo agradable", que personifica la codicia y egoísmo de una forma bastante cruda... 

¡Sí, son personajes ficticios, pero actúan tan estereotipadamente, que lucen estremecedoramente reales!... 

¡Decidí tomar otro descanso de las publicaciones de vehículos (que me encantan, en todo caso =PPPPP) para darle una oportunidad a este grandioso grupo de figuras que son en realidad regalos!... 

Una de mis sobrinas (ella es bastante genial, rara y rebelde, casi sin causa) pensó que estos tipines estarían mejor en mis manos y ella resulta estar bastante en lo correcto sobre eso =DDDDD... 

Funcionan perfecto como juguetes de diseñador y estos personajes están muy en la onda de gente loca / fuera de lo común como yo =P. 

El primero es el más grande con una altura de 5"1/4, hecha de PVC flexible y presenta una escultura bastante detallada con lindo trabajo de pintura (¡Patricio luce estúpidamente realista, WOW!), pero no sé por qué es hueco por detrás (¿?... ¡Aunque pensándolo bien, es la representación más grandiosa de la anatomía de un imbécil que haya visto jamás!). 

El segundo es una minifigura de 2"3/4 de alto con base, moldeada en plástico en dos piezas, con detalles agradables y un trabajo de pintura simple pero pulcro, probablemente es parte de una serie disponible con productos de Nestlé, puesto que su logo está atrás. 

La siguiente minifigura de 2"1/4 de alto, es parte de una series de huevos de chocolate (no es Kinder), hecha en PVC con base en plástico, bastante detallada y presenta a Patricio cazando medusas. 

Ahora es el turno de la minifigura de PVC de 2" del sr. Krabbs con base plástica, el trabajo de pintura y escultura es bastante bueno, incluí otras dos minifiguras de Bob Esponja y Patricio Estrella, ambas parte de una serie de huevos de chocolate (Bob no es Kinder, mientras que Patricio sí es Kinder), ya publicadas aquí, pero no presentadas apropiadamente... 

¡Realmente me encantan, pero increíblemente no me siento imbécil en lo absoluto!...

Maybe I’m just rambling, but there is a sort of cheeky cult to the idiocy around the world and I can’t help but wondering what’s behind that cultural aberration?... 

If you take a quick look to YouTube, then you will find something like hundred millions of videos making a large tribute to stupid people, making stupid stuff, to entertain their stupid audience (and they keep clicking and clicking at this very moment so, hopefully you will not feel compelled to do it as well, just to spread the madness and become another stat... LOL!). 

But in other media, the matter doesn’t appear to be better and is at least as contagious as the most aggressive zombie virus imagined by reputed horror/science fiction creators all around the world (or perhaps, already created by a corrupted genetic laboratory with pretentions of being another Umbrella Corp.)... 

Now, why people act like morons?... 

Is the entire world doomed by an horde of tared and what’s doing the people with a lot of common sense (like me) to eradicate this epidemic?... 

To answer the first question quickly, I would say: because they can and enjoy it, either for they have that calling or for they are too morons to think about it... 

For the second, I would say: yeah this world is "kinda" doomed, but the idiocy is just one of the issues involved, right now, I’m denouncing, warning about this plague and if you’re not infected, then you could help me (using your brain to find the solution, it doesn’t hurt actually, slapping people right and left, as a measure to make them react, temporary, of course)... 

However, being honest, a bit of stupidity every now and then is not that bad, specially when you use it as a "pressure valve" to get rid of the stressing routine of your life... 

Talking about morons, there is a TV series allegedly for the child audience, but very successful among adolescents and even adult people, known as SpongeBob SquarePants... 

As weird as it sounds, this publication could be a sort of homage to the second most recalled character of this series I’m mentioning: Patrick Star. 

In a world of morons, he’s the emperor, pushing the meaning of this word beyond the known limits... 

He’s DUMB (yeah, with capital letters) and hardly can articulate something intelligible (although, in fact, he act like someone smart in a few episodes, just to make more remarkable his huge stupidity)... 

OH!... But he’s not only an appalling ignorant, NO!... 

Also he was gifted with a morbid obesity, a total lack of good manners or skills for the easiest tasks, and an epic laziness... 

Although, I almost forget about the other character portrayed in this post: mr. Eugene H. Krabbs, another "nice guy", who embodies the greed and selfishness in a quite crude way... 

Yeah, they’re fictional characters, but they act so stereotypically, that they look frighteningly real!... 

I decided to take another brake of the vehicles publications (which I love, by the way =PPPPP) to give a chance to this great group of figures, which are actually gifts!... 

One of my nieces (she’s quite cool, rare and rebel, almost without a cause) thought that these guys would be better in my hands and she happens to be pretty right about that =DDDDD... 

They work perfect as designer toys and the characters are very in the mood of crazy / out of ordinary people, like me =P. 

The first one is the biggest with a height of 5"1/4, made of flexible PVC and features a quite detailed sculpt with nice paint job (Patrick looks stupidly realistic, WOAH!), but I don’t know why it’s hollow on the back (?... Although on second thought, is the greatest representation of the anatomy of a moron I have ever seen!). 

The second one is a 2"3/4 high minifigure with base, molded in plastic in two pieces, with nice details and a simple but neat paint job, probably it was part of a series available with Nestlé products, since its logo is on the back. 

The following 2"1/4 high minifigure, is part of a chocolate egg series (not Kinder), made in PVC with plastic base, fairly detailed and includes a good paint job, also it features Patrick hunting jellyfish. 

Now is the turn of the mr. Krabbs 2" high PVC minifigure with plastic base, the paint job and sculpt are quite good, I have included another two minifigures of Bob Sponge and Patrick Star, both of them part of a chocolate egg series (Bob is not Kinder, while Patrick is Kinder), already published here, but not properly introduced... 

I really love them, but incredibly I don’t feel like a moron at all!...
