Los fanáticos del prolífico director japonés de animé Shinichiro Watanabe, reconocerán en estas figuras, la particular línea de diseño de personajes y ambientaciones, que caracterizan a una aclamada serie de animé de 1998: Cowboy Bebop...
Pero en contraste con esta última serie, que se desarrolla en el futuro, Samurai Champloo (2005) se desarrolla en el pasado, más exactamente en la era Edo.
Aunque la historia es ficticia, toma algunos elementos históricos y los mezcla de una forma "despiadada", con elementos contemporáneos como el Hip-Hop en su banda sonora, el béisbol y el breakdance / capoeira, creando singulares anacronismos, propios de muchas series y películas del mundo del animé.
Este set, compuesto por tres estatuillas en PVC con bases acoplables para formar un diorama y tres minibustos imantados, ha tenido una gran difusión, así que se puede conseguir con relativa facilidad, pero tiene muy buen detalle, un tamaño interesante de 4" de alto y un trabajo de pintura muy fiel al original. Los personajes incluidos son: Mugen (el vagabundo), Fuu (la chica glotona) y Jin (el samurai errante).

The fans of the prolific Japanese anime director Shinichiro Watanabe, will recognize in these figures, the particular design line of characters and atmospheres, which characterize the acclaimed anime series of 1998: Cowboy Bebop...
But in contrast with the latter series, which takes place in the future, Samurai Champloo (2005) takes place in the past, more exactly in the Edo era.
Although the story is fictitious, it takes some historical elements and mix them in a "pitiless" way, with contemporary elements like the Hip-Hop in its soundtrack, the baseball and the breakdance / capoeira, creating singular anachronisms, typical in many series of the anime’s world.
This set, which consist of three mini figures in PVC with interlocking bases and three mini-busts magnetized, has had a great spreading, so it could be acquired with a relative ease, but it has very good detail, an interesting size of 4" high and a paint job very faithful to the original. The characters included are: Mugen (the vagabond), Fuu (the gluttonous girl) and Jin (the errant samurai).
