Batman DC Armory Series Action Figure by DC Direct

¡Bienvenidos a mi mundo DC!...

Who says that even superheroes don’t require extra help, against specially powerful and fierce enemies?... Welcome to my DC world!..

While this is not the first DC piece in my collection that I’ve published (you can take a look on my Batmobile Tumbler), it’s the first of several action figures from comic that will parade into this virtual gangway.

However, I must clarify that, if someone is looking for classic or traditional figures here, I’m afraid is looking in the wrong place.

My business is the lesser known characters or the nontraditional versions of classic characters or the alternate universes / realities.

If any of my visitors is a staunch lover of the conventional, I suggest to search in other sources, since the experience of visiting my blog could be very shocking =PPPPP.

In issue # 630 of Batman, this Dark Knight must face a known threat: Scarecrow with a "little" difference, this arch-enemy has mutated to become the monstrous Scarebeast.

That’s when Batman must wear this awesome armor, to present a more fair and balanced battle.

This is a magnificent piece of 7 1/2" high, with a molding process and detail that is even more than what is normally expected from DC Direct and was sculpted by Jonathan Matthews.

Chapter aside deserves its level of articulation (22 points) that is, as far as I know, unprecedented in DCD and its paint job metallic / pearled, with a newfangled frosted finishing in the grey parts of the armor, which adds a particular charm.

It has a nice silkscreen job in the display base and a pair of masks (one of them "marked" by Scarebeast). In other words, another blow to my weakened finances by DC, but one I received with pleasure... LOL!

It doesn't look like it can stand straight...so how remind me of Robocop. Anyway batman is the only Super hero who do not have any super power but just gadgets to help him. so it make sense. I doubt this suit can matched with Ironman. LOL

oohhhhh... he can stands straight, but i pose him in those ways intentionally, to show his level of articulation... he could looks like Robocop (a lil’ tardy & heavy), but as he has to battle with a mutant beast, this armor must giv to Batman extra agility =PPPP... hehe Batman could b only human, but Superman said somewhere bout him: "he’s the most dangerous superheroe..." there must b a reason for that affirmation... & Batman (Bruce Wayne) as Ironman (Tony Stark) hav their own megacorps, so i think Batman could b, for sure, the perfect match for Ironman... =PPPPPPPP

This is like the Ironman type of Batman. I like characters with armour suit like Appleseed as well and man this version of Batman looks awesome.

hehe... i didn’t think in Ironman when i get this action figure, but now that u & LEon mention that, well, it could be... the thing is that, not always Batman needs an armor to face his foes, so in this special case (his battle against Scarebeast) must point out that this beast is a "hard cookie to break"... uhu Appleseed, i love those characters too & the 3D animations of the 2 movies, my favorites OFC: Deunan & Briaerius... i’m absolutely in agreement with u Dennis, this armored figure is awesome !!!
