1953 Studebaker Commander Starlight Coupe (At-A-Tude) 1998 First Editions Series Diecast No Scale by Hot Wheels

Luego de un corto y merecido descanso, decidí darle la oportunidad a este regalo que una de mis hermanas me dió hace ya un buen tiempo (el que yo escogí, pues soy demasiado complicado cuando se trata de recibir regalos). 

Desgraciadamente, no tuve la precaución de guardar el blister que contenía la información del mismo (cuando uno es más joven, normalmente es más descuidado =/).

Sin embargo, puedo decir que fue fabricado en Malasia (creo que el origen puede determinar significativamente la calidad del producto y en este caso es bastante buena), también añadiré que se trata de una notable modificación de un Studebaker Commander Starlight Coupé de 1953 (los autos de esta marca tienen un diseño extraño, así que solo pueden generar odio o amor, nada en medio de eso...) y este modelo en particular me parece muy bien logrado... Hermoso, de hecho. 

Hotwheels no se destaca precisamente por crear autos o réplicas realistas y bueno, este diecast tiene la particularidad de que su motor se encuentra dentro de la cabina, que es cerrada, por lo que en la vida real sería un infierno sobre ruedas, imposible de conducir.

Por otro lado, es un derroche de imaginación, diseñado por Mark Jones, con un lindo esquema de pintura azul eléctrico policromado, que le hace contraste a su estrafalario interior cromado y con muy buenos tampos. 

Creo que este año, si DIOS permite, será un año que irá sobre ruedas en este blog (literalmente), pero la variedad seguirá siendo el estandarte, así que... Síganme los buenos XDDDDD

After a short and well deserved brake, I decided to give a chance to this gift that one of my sisters gave me a long time ago (which I chose, because I’m too complicated when it comes to receive gifts). 

Unfortunately, I wasn’t careful to keep the card containing its information (when you’re younger, you’re often careless =/).

However, I can say it was manufactured in Malaysia (I think the source may significantly determine the quality of the product and in this case is quite good), I will also add that this is a significant modification of a 1953 Studebaker Commander Starlight Coupe (the cars of this brand have a weird design, so they can only generate hate or love, nothing in the middle of this...) and this particular model seems very well made... Beautiful, indeed. 

Hot Wheels doesn’t stand out precisely for the creation of cars or replicas realistic and well, this diecast has the particularity that its engine is inside the cabin, which is closed so, in the real life would be a hell in wheels, impossible to drive.

On the other hand, is a sample of imagination, designed by Mark Jones, with a nice electric blue polychrome paint scheme, which contrasts very well with its quirky chrome interior and it has a great tampos. 

I think this year, if GOD allows, will be a year that will go on wheels in this blog (literally), but the variety will remain the standard, so... Follow me the good ones XDDDDD
