Pyro Marvel Legends Series 13 (Onslaught) Action Figure by Toy Biz

• Chris: "Oye Pyro! Te gustaría venir este fin de semana a una barbacoa con mis compañeros de oficina... 

•• Pyro: Lo siento Chris, pero tengo que flamear unos budines en casa de mi suegra" HAHAHA!... 

El dueño de este blog es demasiado trivial, pero un poco de idiotez es una excelente terapia contra el estrés, ¿no lo creen?... 

Mi invitado para hoy, resultó ser un personaje bastante ambiguo, pues aunque es reconocido ampliamente como un villano, su historia no ha estado exenta de actos de heroísmo.

De las mentes de Chris Claremont y John Byrne surgió Pyro en 1981; comparado con otros heroes/villanos del mundo Marvel, su aparición es bastante reciente. 

Jhon Allerdyce, un australiano originario de Sidney, que se desempeñaba como periodista y novelista, descubre que es un mutante con la habilidad de manipular el fuego, si bien no puede generarlo por sí mismo. 

Su encuentro con la mutante Mystique, marcaría su destino, pues de allí en adelante pasó a hacer parte de numerosos grupos de villanos como: the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants y en historias alternativas, del grupo del supervillano Exodus o el grupo de ninjas asesinos conocido como Hellfire Club. 

Sin embargo, en la historia principal de este personaje, luego de contraer una mortal enfermedad producida por el Legacy Virus y antes de fallecer, rescata al senador Robert Kelly, lo cual hizo que éste último decidiera buscar la paz mundial entre humanos y mutantes.
 
Esta es otra figura de un colega, que logró pasar mis filtros de selección y ahora la publico para el deleite de mis visitantes. 

Se trata de una pieza de 6" de alto, con el esquema de color original del personaje, muy brillante, llamativo y limpio, muy buenos acabados y trabajo de pintura, 33 puntos de articulación e incluye un cómic de 32 páginas y la parte inferior del tronco de Onslaught. 

Estas series están descontinuadas en la actualidad y Hasbro fabrica varias series de Marvel Legends, pero sus características son diferentes a estas de Toy Biz. Por eso, si alguien vé una de estas piezas disponibles por ahí, no debe dudar mucho en adquirirlas, en serio no se arrepentirá...

My guest for today, proved a rather ambiguous character, although he’s widely recognized as a villain, his story has not been free from acts of heroism.

From the minds of Chris Claremont and John Byrne came Pyro in 1981; compared with other heroes/villains from the Marvel’s world, his appearance is quite recent.

This is another figure from a colleague that passed my filters of selection and now I publish it for the delight of my visitors. 

This piece is 6" high, with the original color scheme of the character, very brilliant, flashy and clean, with very nice finishing and paint job, 33 points of articulation and includes a 32-page comic and the bottom trunk of Onslaught. 

These series were discontinued and Hasbro now produces several series of Marvel Legends, but their features are different from those of Toy Biz. So if someone sees one of these pieces available out there, should not hesitate too much into acquiring them, seriously will not regret it...
