Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Capsule Toy Set of 5 by Yujin

Este es uno de esos pequeños tesoros que estuvo esperando por mucho tiempo a ser publicado (tal vez 2 años o algo así) por razones que ni yo mismo sé...

Algunas veces olvido lo que tengo en mi colección y de repente me doy cuenta que es algo que merece una oportunidad en este lugar caótico, mi blog.

De hecho estoy hablando sobre un recuerdo de una de mis cintas favoritas de Tim Burton, una primorosa muestra de anacronismo, un ejemplo de ese arte olvidado de la animación stop motion, el encuentro entre Jack Skellington y Papá Noel. 

Estos son juguetes tipo capsule con un concepto similar al de las figuras gashapon, cuando los compré tenían una disponibilidad normal incluso en mi cuidad natal, pero ahora son un item difícil de conseguir (si llegas a encontarlo en existencia...), con gran atención a los detalles.

La mini-urna es un cráneo de Jack Skellington lo que es una característica de diseño genial y si esto no fuera lo suficientemente tierno, dentro en la parte superior, hay un recubrimiento fluorescente que por supuesto brilla en la oscuridad.

Las figuras en sí se ajustan perfecto dentro de la mini-urna y tienen partes removibles, sobre el detalle, pueden mirarlo por sí mismos y las mini-urnas pueden ser ensambladas una sobre otra, ¿qué más podría querer?...

Ahora es tiempo de decir hasta pronto y quiera el DIOS Todopoderoso permitirme publicar algo más la semana que viene...=)

This is one of those little treasures which were waiting for a long time to be published (maybe 2 years or so) for reasons even I myself don’t know...

Sometimes I just forget what I have in my collection and suddenly I realize that is something that deserves a chance in this chaotic place, my blog.

Indeed I’m talking about another souvenir from one of my favorite movies by Tim Burton, a lovely piece of anachronism, a sample of that forgotten art of the stop motion animation, the encounter between Jack Skellington and Santa Claus. 

These are capsule toys with a similar concept to that of the gashapon figures, which when I bought them had a normal availability even here in my hometown, but nowadays is an item hard to find (if you get to find it in stock...), with great attention to details.

The mini display urn is a Jack Skellington skull which is a great design feature and if that weren’t cute enough, inside on top there is a fluorescent coating that obviously glows in the dark.

The figures themselves fit nicely inside the display case and have removable parts... About their detail, you can watch by yourselves and the mini display urns can be attached one above the another, what else you could want?...

Este año he decidido escudriñar mi "cajón de juguetes" y liberar del ostracismo algunas pequeñas joyas que tenía relegadas, quizás por mis incipientes delirios de grandeza... ¡HA!...

Si mi colección reflejara mis delirios, entonces serían delirios de pequeñez porque considero que en la gran mayoría de casos, con los juguetes sucede como con los perfumes, los más finos vienen en frascos pequeños. 

Y es que la mayor parte de figuras en mi colección, no tienen más de 3 1/2" de alto; quizás ese sea el único hilo conductor para mí. Ahhh y Tim Burton es uno de mis genios favoritos =)))))...

Así que, es hora que este lindo set haga su debút y casi podría decir que en realidad son dos sets, porque consta de seis pequeños ataúdes metálicos, finamente elaborados e impresos, que contienen unos aún más pequeños llaveros en resina de los personajes que aparecen en la tapa de los mismos. 

Ambos, ataúdes y figuras pueden ser considerados coleccionables individualmente. También, he decidido hacer una publicación semanal (cosa que cumpliré con la ayuda de DIOS, por supuesto) y créanme, ¡se avecinan cosas muy interesantes en mis dominios, por lo que espero sus visitas y si alguien más se toma el atrevimiento de hacerse mi seguidor, tanto mejor! Hasta la próxima =D

This year I have decided to scrutinize into my "toy box" and release of the ostracism some lil’ gems that I had relegated, perhaps for my incipient delusions of grandeur... HA!...

If my collection reflects my delusions, then it would be delusions of smallness because I consider that in the vast majority of cases, with the toys happens as with the perfumes, the finest come in small bottles. 

And is that the majority of figures in my collection, are no more than 3 1/2" high; maybe that is the only common thread for me. Ohhh and Tim Burton is one of my favorite geniuses =)))))...

So, it’s about time for this cute set to make its debut and I could say that they are indeed two sets, because it consists of six small metal coffins, finely manufactured and printed, containing even smaller resin keychains of the characters which appears at the top/front of those coffins. 

Both figures and coffins can be considered collectibles individually. Also, I decided to do a weekly post (which I will comply with the help of GOD, of course) and believe me, quite interesting things are ahead in my domains, so I expect your visits and if someone else takes the audacity to become my follower, the better! Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride Mini-Figure Collector Set of 5 Series 2 by McFarlane Toys

Directamente desde el oscuro y con todo colorido imaginario, demente pero con una extraña lucidez, trágico pero de gran romanticismo... 

Desde el mundo del cine, hecho con la obsoleta, costosa y bella técnica de animación stop-motion... 

Viene para nuestro deleite, este singular set basado en una aclamada cinta del cineasta californiano Tim Burton. 

Las figuras, indudablemente, son ricamente detalladas y reproducen con gran exactitud algunos de los personajes de Corpse Bride, con un delicado trabajo de pintura.

Definitivamente es un excelente trabajo de McFarlane y vale la pena tenerlo (junto con el set de la Serie 1, que trataré de conseguir).

Las piezas en PVC, tienen bases en resina y miden entre 1 1/2" y 6 1/2" de alto. Este set incluye: Zombie Gentleman, Victoria, Elder Gutenknatch, Scraps & Weiner Dog y Paul The Head Waiter. (NOTA: este es el orden en el que aparecen las imágenes individuales, de arriba hacia abajo).

Directly from the dark and yet colorful imaginary, insane but with a weird lucidity, tragic but with a great romanticism... 

From the world of movies, made with the obsolete, costly and beautiful technique of the stop-motion animation... 

It comes for our pleasure, this singular set based on an acclaimed film by the Californian movie producer Tim Burton. 

The figures, doubtlessly, are richly detailed and reproduce with great accuracy some of the characters of the Corpse Bride, with a delicate paint job.

Definitively is an excellent work of McFarlane and worth having it (along with the set of the Series 1, which I will try to get). 

The pieces in PVC, have individual resin bases and measure between 1 1/2" and 6 1/2" high. This set includes: Zombie Gentleman, Victoria, Elder Gutenknatch, Scraps & Weiner Dog and Paul The Head Waiter. (NOTE: this is the order of the individual images, from top to bottom).
