Saint Seiya, the Knights of the Zodiac, ha sido otra franquicia sumamente exitosa del animé.
ENGLISH As I promised, and now that I got a brand new follower, my sit-down strike it’s over... LOL!... I don’t know why I should do things like these =PPPPP, not even if my blog were "trashy"...
It’s OK, no hard feelings. I come back even more powerful and hoping my list of fans grow up, so I can publish gladly.
Saint Seiya, the Knights of the Zodiac, has been another extremely successful anime franchise. With a diffusion as great as that reached by Dragon Ball, although with different characters and setting design, also with a more dramatic story... Maybe with an even more explicit violence.
These excellent pieces (in which I was not interested, at the beginning), arrived to their blazing and careful owner barely after I saw them personally.
These are PVC figures, between 3" and 4" high, with a paint job featuring gradients and pearled / matte finishes, also a level of detail really surpassing.
They include their own resin bases and even more, some additional displays, richly detailed, for exhibition as mini-bust.
Their acetate boxes and some optional printed backgrounds achieve a highly commendable collection set.
This one has the following characters: Shinryu (Dragon), Seiya (Pegasus) and Hyoga (Cygnus) (NOTE: this is the order of the individual images, from top to bottom).
I found unexpectedly some additional pieces from Saint Seiya, that I’ll publish later so, keep in touch with this blog...
I like Saint Seiya especially the armor they wear. Black look good on they. It's amazing how they managed to win an opportant much stronger than them in the anime when they were already so badly injured. Hee! Hee!
yep... something usual in a lot of anime series, enemies almost impossible to be defeated, finally falling down by the courage of these warriors, that becomes an stronger power than power itself... i guess u’ll take time deciding if u become a fan of my blog or not... if u want to, u’ll b welcome... =)
nup... only the knights of the twelve houses represent the signs of the zodiac, the other knights (like these ones, of bronze...) represent constellations, demi-gods & things like those... =D
yep Freak, Black Knights... as weird as it could sound, there were Black Knights on the regular Saint Seiya’s series... they were the evil twins of the bronze knights, that stole the gold cloth of the princess Sienna... they were sent by Phoenix to harass to Shinryu, Seiya and Hyoga...

My alternate blog in WordPress
From now, I will be publishing basically the same contents in both blogs, but for reviews before March 18, 2019, you must read my Blogger blog...
I’m a professional graphic designer and a restful collector, but above all: I’m someone who doesn’t take for granted anything, just because someone else says so. I think this hobby goes way beyond buying stuff here and there: anybody with money can buy collectibles, but not anybody becomes collector by doing so. I think as well that this hobby is, more than anything, about knowledge, about making sense of what happens around us and just like any other kind of knowledge, if it’s devoid of ethics, is worthless. I like to address topics around collectionism, including, but not limited to: history, industry, forums, groups, collectors, distributors, sellers, etc. I’m fully aware that criticism is essential for our hobby: everything is susceptible of improvement and we the collectors demand quality, but the industry around it doesn’t necessarily shares that vision. After all, well-targeted criticism always helps to detect failures and correct them, it’s like critical thinking: it helps you see things as they really are and not just as how they are presented to you. If you are someone who likes to look beyond the surface, welcome, if that is not the case, continue at your own risk...

The dragon look so cool! I didn't know they have a Dragon. I thought all is zodiac figures. LOL

Why are the armors black? Did I miss something from the anime? (I probably did, but still don't remember them in black).

Oh yeah, now I remember, they didn't last very long in the series...
