Juggernaut Marvel Legends Series 6 Action Figure by Toy Biz

Recientemente estuve en conversaciones con unos amigos de Marvel y quedaron en darse una pasadita por mi blog, para recordar viejos tiempos. Nighthawk, Captain America y Onslaught tendrán algunos acompañantes y me temo que no serán pocos... 

Por favor, dénle una cálida bienvenida (¡y apártense de su camino!) a Juggernaut t.c.c. Cain Marko.

La creación de este personaje corrió por cuenta de Stan Lee y Jack Kirby en 1965. Para muchos, este resulta un villano de poca monta (me tiene sin cuidado) pero para mí, es uno de los más carismáticos y poderosos. 

No se trata de un mutante como algunos podrían pensar, sino un superhumano que deriva sus poderes de la Gema -mágica- de Cyttorak, que le confiere fuerza descomunal, invulnerabilidad (en caso de ser herido, sana de forma casi inmediata); es virtualmente inmortal, inmune a cualquier enfermedad, toxina o veneno; gracias a su casco hecho de un metal místico, no le afectan ataques psiónicos; no tiene necesidad de comer, beber o respirar y por si fuera poco, puede generar un campo de fuerza impenetrable; en resumidas cuentas, me parece la descripción de un enemigo temible.

En cuanto a la figura de esta reseña, es de 8" de alto, en resina (definitivamente hecha para durar), un trabajo de pintura y nivel de detalle muy atractivo, super articulado (27 puntos) y viene acompañado por un display de una pared con su reja destrozada. 

Esta es una pieza excelente y ha adquirido mayor valor con el paso del tiempo... Mis sinceras felicitaciones al amigo y colega coleccionista dueño de esta imponente figura.

The creation of this character was handled by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1965. For many people, he’s just a minor villain (I don’t care about that) however for me is one of the most charismatic and powerful. 

He’s not a mutant as some people might think, but a superhuman which derives his powers from the Gem -magic- of Cyttorak, which gives him enormous strength, invulnerability (if injured, he can heals himself almost immediately); he’s virtually immortal, immune to any disease, toxin or poison; thanks to his helmet made of a mystical metal, psionic attacks can’t affect him; he has no need to eat, drink or breath and on top it off, he can generate an impenetrable force field; in short, it seems to me the description of a fearsome enemy.

As for the figure of this review, is 8" high, in resin (definitely made to last), a paint job and level of detail very attractive, super articulated (27 points) and is accompanied by a display of a wall with its grill smashed. 

This is an excellent piece and has gained value over time... My sincere congratulations to the friend and fellow collector owner of this imposing figure.
