• Chris: "Oye Pyro!

• "Chris: Hey Pyro! Would you like to come to a barbecue with my office mates...
•• Pyro: I’m sorry Chris, but I have to flaming some puddings in my mother-in-law’s house" LOLOLOLL!...
The owner of this blog is too trivial, but a bit of idiocy is an excellent therapy for stress, don’t you think so?...
My guest for today, proved a rather ambiguous character, although he’s widely recognized as a villain, his story has not been free from acts of heroism.
From the minds of Chris Claremont and John Byrne came Pyro in 1981; compared with other heroes/villains from the Marvel’s world, his appearance is quite recent.
Jhon Allerdyce, an Australian originally from Sidney, who worked as a journalist and novelist, discovers that he’s a mutant with the ability to manipulate fire, though he cannot generate it by himself.
His encounter with the mutant Mystique, would mark his fate, as thereafter went onto be part of many groups of villains like: the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants and in alternative stories, of the supervillain Exodus’ group or the group of ninja murderers known as Hellfire Club.
However, in the main story of this character, after he contracts a deadly disease caused by the Legacy Virus and before his death, he rescues the senator Robert Kelly, which makes the latter decides to seek for the world’s peace between humans and mutants.
This is another figure from a colleague that passed my filters of selection and now I publish it for the delight of my visitors.
This piece is 6" high, with the original color scheme of the character, very brilliant, flashy and clean, with very nice finishing and paint job, 33 points of articulation and includes a 32-page comic and the bottom trunk of Onslaught.
These series were discontinued and Hasbro now produces several series of Marvel Legends, but their features are different from those of Toy Biz. So if someone sees one of these pieces available out there, should not hesitate too much into acquiring them, seriously will not regret it...

Nice edit to the last pic. It's poster like. The hair of this flame thrower really give him the extra inch! Lol!
I also like the fire effect on the last picture. How you do the fire effect?
to Dennis:
hehehe... yep, i had a short circuit in my brain, so in that moment i decided to do this kind of experiments with the pics (promise not to do this again... errrrrrrr i’ll do again whenever i want!!!) THX for the compliment =D... & yep, the hair of this guy is a lil’ punky LOL
to LEon:
so curious u r, dun u ??? the process is a lil’ long, i hav to search a pic with fire, then i have to separate in other layer & siluet one flame & giv it some transparency... then some edition & finally i copy this layer in my Pyro pic to put in its rigth place, i modified the colour gamma to resemble the backgroud colour, some texture effects & ¡voilá!... all the process was made in Photoshop =) i guess is all clear kjakakjakakjakjkakajkjka uhmmm myb not, but that’s the answer...=PPPP
Now I remebered who Pyro is, the thing his carrying is a flamethrower right? "Toasty", Love the effect on the pic
btw that hair is enough to make a firebat wet his pants^^
yep Gunstray, that’s a flamethrower... the original Pyro can’t generate fire by himself (in other alternative stories/Marvel universes, he can do that & is also almost immune to fire attacks against him...) THX for ur compliment on my photoexperiments =))))
