1986 Buick Grand National Chick Hicks (Dinoco) Disney Pixar Cars Movie Diecast Scale 1:55 by Mattel

It’s very difficult for a good story to be, you know, good... If there is not a bad guy, who tries to ruin everything.

Yeah !!!... Our guest for today, distills envy by each one of his metallic pores and he has, unknowingly, a huge sign on his windscreen which says: "I have an ego with 4 turbochargers and horse power to spare, so hate me all you want!"...

I don’t know if it was by chance (and actually, I don’t think so) that they have chosen the "badass" Buick Grand National model 1986, to "embody" Chick Hicks (of course, there were other Buicks on the racetrack, but only one was Hicks), because this "High Performance Car" has a reputation (good / bad depending on you point of view...) in the quarter mile competitions, as a "Dragster" and he looks pretty good to be a villain!...

I don’t need to repeat (do I?) how much I liked these Mattel diecast and they are a delicious snack for my inner child.

Its paint and pad printing job is pretty good (did all of you see the tiny sponsors’ logos?) and we are talking about a 3 1/2" long piece!...

And the look in his "Guadalajara" eyes says it all: "don’t you see the contempt I feel for you in my eyes?"...
