ENGLISH My encounter with Halo was relatively recent, years after its first release Halo Combat Evolved in 2001 and my impression about it is summarized as: very good graphics, but is a bit too far to capture my attention like... Let’s say... Quake 2?...
I’m not saying that the game is bad, NO, but is somewhat disappointing that it’s so short...
Now, I understand that the development of a videogame requires an enormous effort of an interdisciplinary team and there is usually an inverse relation between the quality of the graphics and the length/number of levels available.
Wanting to get a life, I decided to play less and collect more (better for my health, worse for my budget HAHAHA) so I decided as well, to get for me these replicas in miniature, just to not leave Halo in the "room of oblivion"...
McFarlane used its let’s call it "king Midas’ touch" to bring to life these vehicles and did it "all legit".
The Ghost is an air/ground one-man fast and light attack vehicle, with anti-gravity propulsion which achieves an excellent reproduction here (with approximately 4" long), filled with detail, a rich paint job and a stand base that fits it like a glove.
Thank GOD there is something different here every week, with just one single threat: what you see, is what I like... See you next time... =)
I didn't play the game but 'Halo' is so big that even non-player like me know of it. I did watch its anime which tells a lot on the fact and setting of 'Halo'. Nice 'Ghost' vehicle of the Elites which is made by trusted manufacturer like McFarlane.
hey !!! for a "not fan" of Halo u know a bit more than i do XD... actually i have not seen the anime series, but i know there r some fan projects that mix CGI & real characters to recreate this game in short movies... Halo is a great phenomenon, partly because it has Microsoft behind, but mostly for the great amount of fans around the world... these miniatures r another sample of quality by McFarlane & i really love’em =D

My alternate blog in WordPress
From now, I will be publishing basically the same contents in both blogs, but for reviews before March 18, 2019, you must read my Blogger blog...
I’m a professional graphic designer and a restful collector, but above all: I’m someone who doesn’t take for granted anything, just because someone else says so. I think this hobby goes way beyond buying stuff here and there: anybody with money can buy collectibles, but not anybody becomes collector by doing so. I think as well that this hobby is, more than anything, about knowledge, about making sense of what happens around us and just like any other kind of knowledge, if it’s devoid of ethics, is worthless. I like to address topics around collectionism, including, but not limited to: history, industry, forums, groups, collectors, distributors, sellers, etc. I’m fully aware that criticism is essential for our hobby: everything is susceptible of improvement and we the collectors demand quality, but the industry around it doesn’t necessarily shares that vision. After all, well-targeted criticism always helps to detect failures and correct them, it’s like critical thinking: it helps you see things as they really are and not just as how they are presented to you. If you are someone who likes to look beyond the surface, welcome, if that is not the case, continue at your own risk...
