Estuve luchando tan duro, porque tengo límites, tengo consciencia... ¡Sin embargo, fue más fuerte que yo!... ¡HAHAHA!...
¡Suficiente de ser teatral!...
Ahora en serio, caí en tentación pero no fue algo inmoral o perverso, ¡no lo permita DIOS!...
Fue justamente un paso adelante en mi desarrollo como coleccionista... Trato de aprender tan rápido como pueda en todos los aspectos de mi vida y mi afición es, por cierto, un mundo por explorar.
Tuve que esperar por tanto tiempo, debido a que este tipo de cosas no está disponible en mi país y por esa misma razón, el precio para encargarlo directamente era demasiado para mi presupuesto...
Pero de nuevo mis amigos / colegas / proveedores vinieron en mi ayuda y salvaron mi día =DDDDD...
El artículo no es barato, pero el precio al que lo conseguí es bastante decente.
Decidí comenzar esta especie de "nueva etapa" de forma adecuada, con nada más ni nada menos que un Lamborghini. =OOOOO
Siempre he admirado Lamborghini por sus diseños futuristas, los cuales están por encima del resto de bestias en este segmento exótico del mercado de autos, en mi humilde opinión.
Sólo en caso que estuvieran dudando de eso, estoy bastante seguro que este Auto Deportivo Compacto Lamborghini Urraco Rally de 1974 no luce viejo para nada y tiene casi 40 años a sus espaldas... ¡Una vida completa !...
Este no es un super auto (y explicaré eso) pero tiene lo que se necesita para robar todas las miradas, ¿de acuerdo?...
Fue diseñado por Marcello Gandini en Bertone (un reputado diseñador de carrocerías italiano) y tiene todos los elementos de un Lambo puro... Bueno, todos excepto el exquisito "super" motor de sus hermanos mayores.
A pesar que no quiero decir que éste sea un auto perezozo, el "estándar" en la "Liga Lambo" era un soberbio V12, mientras el Urraco Rally tenía un V8, ¡pero yo sé lo que un V8 adecuadamente puesto a punto puede hacer!...
Fue creado con la "asequibilidad" en mente y en el mercado americano fue designado como P200, P250 y P300, dependiendo de la configuración del motor.
La mejor opción era un motor de 3.000 cc V8 clasificado en 247 hp, una velocidad máxima de 260 km/h y el tiempo de 0-100 km/h era 5,6 segundos, nada mal de hecho, pero el motor parecía ser muy "delicado" comparado con esos para trabajo pesado de los Muscle Cars "promedio".
Finalmente, pongo mis manos en un diecast de una marca japonesa (¿y adivinen qué?... Hecho en China), Kyosho... Todavía estoy "trabajando" en conseguir algo de Tomytec, pero supongo que es asunto de tiempo.
La espera valió la pena, porque el diecast es finamente detallado e incluye: un hermoso trabajo de pintura y tampos, insertos plásticos para las luces delanteras / traseras, una bonita tarjeta con información "interesante" sobre el modelo (pero en japonés... No podría entender una sola palabra =/////) y una pulcra base de exhibición impresa en screen con el nombre del modelo...
Sí, me enamoré de Kyosho, pero mi amor por otras marcas permanece incólume.

Más sorpresas están a la espera... =)

Now seriously, I fell into temptation but it wasn’t something immoral or perverse, GOD forbid that!...
It was just a step forward in my development as collector... I try to learn as fast as I can in all aspects of my life and my hobby is, certainly, a world unexplored.
I had to wait for so long, due to the unavailability of this kind of stuff in my country and for that very reason, the price to order it directly was way too much for my budget...
But again my friends / colleagues / providers came in my help and saved my day =DDDDD...
The item is not cheap, but the price I got is fairly decent.
I decided to begin this sort of "new stage" properly, with nothing more and nothing less than a Lamborghini. =OOOOO
I have always admired Lamborghini for its futuristic designs, which are above the rest of beasts in this exotic segment of the car market, in my humble opinion.
Just in case you were hesitating about that, I’m pretty sure this 1974 Lamborghini Urraco Rally Compact Sports Car doesn’t look old at all and it has almost 40 years at its back... A whole life!...
This is not a super car (and I will explain that) but man, it has what it takes to steal all eyes, right?...
It was designed by Marcello Gandini in Bertone (a reputed Italian bodywork designer) and it has all the elements of a pure Lambo... Well, all except the exquisite "super" engines of its big brothers.
Although, I don’t mean this is a sloth car, the "standard" in the "Lambo League" was a superb V12, while the Urraco Rally had a V8, but I know what a properly tuned V8 can do!...
It was created with the "affordability" in mind and in the American market it was designated as P200, P250 and P300, depending on the engine configuration.
The best option was a 3,000 cc V8 engine rated at 247 hp, a top speed of 260 km/h and the 0-100 km/h time was 5.6 seconds, not bad indeed, but the engine seems to be very "delicate" compared with those heavy duty of the "average" Muscle Cars.
Finally, I put my hands on a diecast by a Japanese brand (and guess what?... Made in China), Kyosho... I’m still "working" to get something by Tomytec, but I guess is a matter of time.
The wait was worth it, because the diecast is finely detailed and includes: a beautiful paint job and tampos, plastic inserts for the head / rear lights, a nice card with "interesting" info about the model (but in Japanese... I couldn’t understand a single word =/////) and a neat display base printed in screen with the name of the model...
Yeah, I fell in love with Kyosho, but my love for other brands remain undiminished.

More surprises are awaiting... =)

As a die cast model, the painting finishing and detailing is very good, rubber tires is a great bonus, thus the high price.
Anyway, when it comes to exotic car, Italian, I prefer the Ferrari than the Lambo. I admit that Lambo have their own unique style and great fan base but Ferrari is just classic specially in red, plus Ferrari never missed the F1.
As per my experience of having a Porsche Boxster in the past, the maintenance cost for such exotic sports car can be high - but then again, if you are a super rich person then I guess money is not an issue... A mere farmer like me, I don't even dream for such pricey cars.
A friend ask me last time, if somebody gave me a Lambo for free would I take it? I say yes I will take it and sell it again and after that I will buy plenty of Toyota Crown, Toyota Cressida, Toyota Camry and maybe those sports model like Celica or FT86 maybe ^__^
And my friend say - what a waste!!!
HEHE, you pay what you get and i think that the balance between price and quality in Kyosho diecasts has been favorable, at least in this model so, no regrets...
i have a problem with Ferrari and is not the cars themselves but the original owner who passed away not so long ago... Enzo was a filthy conceited, who thought that nobody else could build the best supersport cars but him !!!... Lamborghini does the same with more style and less bustle... if you let me choose between a Ferrari and a Lambo, i would go for the Lambo without hesitation...
the maintenance in this type of cars could bankrupt easily people like you and me, so according with my common sense (and against my will) if someone ever gives me a Lambo for free, i would sell it as well, to make money for other kind of investments... =.= ;(
I'm pretty impressed with how well made the tires were made. The lights and of course the wiper. It's definitely a premium class.
you seem at least as surprised as me myself... one thing is when you hear about the reputation of certain brand of collectibles and other quite different to watch it "in person"... it’s a beautiful diecast, richly detailed with great extras, also is fantastic to own a mini replica designed in such a far place !!!... =OOOOO
