¿Te atreverías a gritar: "¡SOY EL BOSS (JEFE), PARTIDA DE IMBÉCILES¡"...
Pues, NO, PARTIDA DE... HAHAHA...
ENGLISH Would you dare to shout: "I’M DA BOSS, YOU BUNCH OF MORONS!"...
Precisely when you’re in front of the Las Vegas Convention Center (where the SEMA Show is held), considering that you arrived there in a Yugo 45 (Yugoslav / Serbian car, just in case) spoiled?...
OK, you could...
But then, a horde of car enthusiasts will kick your ass almost to death, because of your felony and you will be the laughingstock until the next SEMA!...
Looks like other of my nonsensical introductions?...
Well, NO, YOU BUNCH OF... LOLOLOL...
My point is that not anyone deserves to be called BOSS and even less, someone or something pusillanimous...
Just to make it clearer for you, I decided to bring an old secret project of Ford.
NASCAR seems to be a source of inspiration for many candidates to the high performance leagues, for that very reason, Ford wanted to create a "host" for its version of a HEMI engine, a contender for the Chrysler’s 426 HEMI, in the Grand National Division of NASCAR (called nowadays Sprint Cup Series).
After some deliberations, the decision was made for the Ford Mustang.
But it was not that easy, according to the homologation rules of NASCAR, at least 500 cars with this engine should be sold to the general public.
Apparently, at that time, it was a hard task even among the high performance fans.
This was a very limited edition of a full size Muscle Cars (1969-1970) and barely 859 units were made.
The 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429 is the perfect sample of the growth trend of the Mustangs (and the rest of the American Muscle Cars).
It looks massive compared with the previous models, more aggressive, wider and lower, but the engines available, were not necessarily more powerful so, these cars would become "fat and lazy" after a few years.
However, that was not the case of the Boss 429, NO!...
The massive body was gifted with an even more massive engine: the Boss 429 (Oh !!!... That’s why it’s called Boss 429, right?... I’m a genius!... Yeah, dork!)...
When I say "more massive", I mean it!...
So massive than the already huge space below the hood, should be "extended" to make room for an epic piece of engineering or a mastodon (whatever you want to call it) and the work was made by Kar Kraft, a specialized company from Dearborn, Michigan.
I think that a 429 cu in, 7.0 L, Hemi V8 big-block engine, rated modestly at 375 hp (specially when, in the real life, it could produce even more than 600 hp), is something you could call BOSS, right?...
You will not see so often a car like this on the streets...
Thank GOD, I received one of them in the form of a M2 Machines scale replica and even better that that, as a gift!...
It belongs to the Auto-Projects Series, which you can notice because it has no windows or head / rear lights, neither paint job, it just look primed (unless the flat grey is indeed the final finishing, but I don’t think so) and this is a Chase Model.
The rest of the usual great features you can expect from M2M are right there: the excellent detail and proportion, the accurate tampos, the opening hood and doors, the rather simple but fabulous work on the wheels design (which could be provisional, after all, this is a work in progress and these Mustangs used to have Cragar wheels originally), the detailed engine and of course, the gorgeous display base...
You know, M2M is faithful to its reputation!...
Psa 27:9-11 "Hide not Thy face far from me; put not Thy servant away in anger: Thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O GOD of my salvation. When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up. Teach me Thy Way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies."
so, you didn’t notice that this is a work in progress, indeed ??? LOL... maybe is for the smoothness in the finishing, but this car is barely primed and ready to receive its paint job... the matte finishing is very unusual in this kind of vehicles, unless you want a "rat" or "warrior" appearance... anyway, is good to hear that you were impressed by its quality, THX for your comments, pal !!! =)
HAHAHAHA... we are in a very similar situation, pal... actually, some of the delicious diecast you own, are by brands which are not available here (or too expensive to consider them seriously) so, i guess we are even LOLOLOLOLOLOL... =)

My alternate blog in WordPress
From now, I will be publishing basically the same contents in both blogs, but for reviews before March 18, 2019, you must read my Blogger blog...
I’m a professional graphic designer and a restful collector, but above all: I’m someone who doesn’t take for granted anything, just because someone else says so. I think this hobby goes way beyond buying stuff here and there: anybody with money can buy collectibles, but not anybody becomes collector by doing so. I think as well that this hobby is, more than anything, about knowledge, about making sense of what happens around us and just like any other kind of knowledge, if it’s devoid of ethics, is worthless. I like to address topics around collectionism, including, but not limited to: history, industry, forums, groups, collectors, distributors, sellers, etc. I’m fully aware that criticism is essential for our hobby: everything is susceptible of improvement and we the collectors demand quality, but the industry around it doesn’t necessarily shares that vision. After all, well-targeted criticism always helps to detect failures and correct them, it’s like critical thinking: it helps you see things as they really are and not just as how they are presented to you. If you are someone who likes to look beyond the surface, welcome, if that is not the case, continue at your own risk...
