U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 Star Trek Federation Ships & Alien Ships Collection Miniature Display Model by Furuta

• Teniente Nyota Uhura: ¡capitán, tenemos un ataque inminente en progreso! 
• Capitán James T. Kirk: navegante Chekov, infórmeme sobre cualquier actividad hostil en los alrededores.
• Navegador Chekov: (2 minutos después) no hay señal de naves de ataque 5 años luz a la redonda, capitán... 
• Captain James T. Kirk: ¿está segura sobre ese ataque inminente teniente Uhura? 
• Teniente Nyota Uhura: absolutamente capitán, pero me temo que no fuí tan clara... Nuestro chef en jefe derramó accidentalmente un frasco completo de TURBOLAX sobre la sopa, así que tendrémos un inminente ataque de diarrea, señor...
• Captain James T. Kirk: ¡tomen control de todos los baños de esta nave y alquilen todos los baños de este sistema solar si es necesario!... 

BUAHAHA... Dado que esta es mi última publicación sobre Star Trek, envié mi lucidez lejos, muy lejos y dejé todo el espacio para la demencia O___X... 

La mejor manera de cerrar este capítulo es trayendo la Enterprise más icónica de la serie de TV original. 

No es un secreto que el diseño de esta nave espacial marcó un "antes y después" en la iconografía de la ciencia ficción, tan lejos como allá en los 60s y el crédito por eso es para Matt Jefferies. 

Furuta hizo un trabajo notable en estas mini-replicas y me dí cuenta que se están haciendo más valiosas con el paso del tiempo... Bueno, creo que es la tendencia natural en este tipo de cosas. 

¡Me gustan y eso es lo que realmente importa ah! Y como bonus una imagen de mi colección de Star Trek =P. 

El Señor Jesucristo ha sido benevolente con este bloguero y yo espero que Su benevolencia continue la semana entrante, así que dejémos que vengan los buenos tiempos... =)

BUAHAHA... Given that this is my last publication on the Star Trek topic, i sent my lucidity far, far away and left all the room for the insanity O___X... 

The best way to close this chapter is bringing the most iconic Enterprise from the original TV series. 

It’s not a secret that the design of this ship marked a "before and after" in the science fiction iconography, as far as in the 60s and the credit for that is for Matt Jefferies. 

Furuta made a remarkable work in these mini-replicas and I realized that they’re becoming more and more expensive as time goes by... Well, I guess is the natural trend of this kind of stuff. 

I like them and that’s what really matters, oh! And as a bonus a picture of my entire Star Trek collection =P. 

The Lord Jesus Christ has been benevolent with this blogger and I do hope His benevolence will continue next week, so let the good times roll... =)

Jem’Hadar Attack Ship Star Trek Federation Ships & Alien Ships Collection Miniature Display Model by Furuta

Hay que ver la creatividad que los guionistas de Star Trek tienen para construir universos y civilizaciones completas aparentemente de la nada. 

Por ejemplo, los Jem’Hadar son, ni más ni menos, una raza de soldados "fabricados" a través de ingeniería genética, sin otro propósito que defender a sus creadores: los Challengings, otra raza de seres que pueden tomar la forma física que deseen y que encontraban en los Sólidos (es decir, todas las otras razas existentes) una amenaza que debía ser destruida. 

Si me lo preguntan, esa actitud de los Challengings se parece mucho a la paranoia que un ser humano común y corriente puede sentir por sus congéneres. 

Y en cuanto al servilismo incondicional que los soldados Jem’Hadar profesan por sus creadores, a quienes consideran dioses... ¿No se parece a la lealtad o devoción ciega que ciertas personas tienen por sus superiores en cualquier ámbito, haciendo toda cosa que pidan, sin preguntarse si lo que hacen está bien o mal?.. 

Lo que quiero decir es que la ciencia ficción es para mí otra forma de abordar la Sociología, porque los creadores en este género básicamente proyectan los vicios y virtudes de la humanidad, en seres y situaciones imaginadas, presentando su punto de vista para cuestionar al espectador. 

Se acerca el final de las publicaciones con base en estas réplicas de naves espaciales creadas para la serie Star Trek y aunque en principio me mostré algo escéptico en publicarlas, al hacerlo he revivido el placer por la ciencia ficción en general. 

Lo poco que sé acerca de la marca Furuta, se lo debo a estas piezas y el diseño, esquema de color, detalle y terminados de la que publico hoy, están a la altura del resto, así que se trata de un artículo de colección muy interesante según mi parecer. 

Confiando en la Providencia y enorme Bondad del DIOS de la Biblia, continuaré mi viaje por el mundo coleccionismo la semana que viene y no me molestaría si deciden acompañarme... =)

We have to admit the creativity that the writers of Star Trek have to build entire universes and civilizations, seemingly out of nowhere. 

For example, the Jem’Hadar are no more nor less, a race of soldiers "made" through genetic engineering, with no other purpose than to defend their creators: the Challengings, another race of beings whom can take the physical form they wish and which found in the Solids (i.e. the rest of all existing races) a threat that must be destroyed. 

If you ask me, that attitude of the Challengings is a lot like the paranoia that an ordinary human being can feel for their congeners. 

And as for the unconditional servility that the Jem’Hadar soldiers profess for their creators, whom they consider gods... Is not like the blind loyalty or devotion some people have for their superiors in any field or level, doing everything they ask, without wondering if what they do is wrong or right?... 

What I mean is that science fiction is for me another way to approach Sociology, because the creators in this genre basically project the vices and virtues of humanity in beings and situations imagined, presenting their point of view to challenge the viewer. 

The end of the publications based on the replicas of spacecrafts created for the Star Trek series is near and although I was somewhat skeptical about publishing them, in doing so I have revived the pleasure for science fiction in general. 

The little I know about Furuta brand, I owe it to these pieces and the design, color scheme, detail and finishing of the one I’m publishing today fall short on the rest, so in my opinion is a very interesting collector item. 

Trusting in the Providence and great Goodness of the GOD of the Bible, I will continue my trip by the world of collecting and I wouldn’t mind if all of you decide to come with me... =)

Future U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D Star Trek Federation Ships & Alien Ships Collection Miniature Display Model by Furuta

A pesar de ser un coleccionista con cierta experiencia, lo que hace que cada vez menos cosas me sorprendan, no deja de ser curioso para mí la abundancia de trivia disponible sobre las naves espaciales que han aparecido en las diferentes sagas de Viaje a las Estrellas. 

Poco a poco empiezo a entender el fenómeno que representa esta serie y la cantidad de fanáticos que tiene alrededor del mundo. 

La que publico el día de hoy, es con mucho, la más prólija y de hecho es la que fue diseñada para la serie Viaje a las Estrellas: La Nueva Generación (1987-1994), por Andrew Probert (quién actualizó el diseño original de la Enterprise para Viaje a las Estrellas: La Película en 1979). 

También es, al parecer, la que más formas de vida extraterrestres encontró y la única que llegó al límite del universo físico en esta serie de ciencia ficción. 

Es una nave de la Galaxy Class cuya silueta compacta engaña, pues en la vida real sería enorme. Además, es de las pocas Enterprise que puede dividirse en dos, de manera que el casco y el platillo pueden actuar como naves de combate independientes. 

Como es costumbre la reproducción hecha por Furuta es muy bien lograda, tanto en detalle como en trabajo de pintura y tampos, las bases que las acompañan son excelentes para su exhibición. 

Si el Señor Jesucristo, Quien es grande en misericordia nos permite, nos veremos la semana que viene.... =)

Despite being a collector with some experience, which makes me less and less surprised, it’s curious for me the wealth of trivia available on the spacecrafts that have appeared in the various sagas of Star trek. 

Slowly I begin to understand the phenomenon of this series and the number of fans it has around the world. 

The one I’m publishing today, is by far, the most prolific and in fact it was designed for the series Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987-1994), by Andrew Probert (who updated the original design of the Enterprise for Star Trek: The Motion Picture in 1979). 

It’s also, apparently, the one which most alien forms found and the only one which reached the limit of the physical universe in this science fiction series. 

This is a Galaxy Class starship which compact shape can deceive, because in the real life it would be enormous. In addition, this Enterprise is one of the few that can be divided into two, so that the hull and the saucer can act like independent combat ships. 

As usual the reproduction made by Furuta is very well made, both in detail and in paint job and tampos, the accompanying bases are great for display. 

If the Lord Jesus Christ, Who’s great in mercy, allows us... We’ll see something more next week =)

U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-C Star Trek Federation Ships & Alien Ships Collection Miniature Display Model by Furuta

Cuando pensamos en viajar en el tiempo, cosa que según las leyes de la física es prácticamente imposible, nos gusta dejar volar la imaginación... 

Interesantes teorías (otra vez esa palabra...) se han planteado por parte de escritores de ciencia ficción ya sea para los mundos literario, cinematográfico o televisivo. 

En la serie "Viaje a las Estrellas: La Nueva Generación" (1990) que corresponde a la tercera saga de la franquicia, una paradoja de trágicas consecuencias ocurre, por un viaje en el tiempo que la nave espacial publicada hoy hizo al futuro. 

La NCC-1701-C, en su línea de tiempo (es decir, el "pasado": año 2344...) debía ser destruída junto con toda su tripulación; sin embargo, al haber entrado en una anomalía espacio-temporal y haber viajado al futuro, la nave y su tripulación sobrevivieron y el "curso de los acontecimientos" cambió drásticamente, pues una civilización alienígena que debía ser aliada (los Klingons) se había convertido en un acérrimo enemigo de la Federación de Planetas. 

En otras palabras, sucedió algo que no debía suceder...

Dejando de lado la ciencia ficción y volviendo a la realidad, me temo que la estructura espacio-temporal en la que estamos inmersos es mucho más compleja de lo que podríamos comprender y cada acto nuestro tiene consecuencias que realmente no podemos medir... 

He aquí otra muestra de gran detalle y muy buen trabajo de pintura / tampos de esta marca japonesa: Furuta. Me encanta su esquema de color y en general el diseño de esta Enterprise de la clase Ambassador que "fue" producida en un futuro ficcional, en 2292.

When we think of time travel, which under the laws of physics is virtually impossible, we like to let our imagination fly... 

Interesting theories (that word again...) have been raised by science fiction writers either for the literary, cinematic or television worlds. 

In the series "Star Trek: The New Generation" (1990) which corresponds to the third saga of the franchise, a paradox occurs with tragic consequences because of a trip back in time to the future of the spacecraft published today. 

The NCC-1701-C, in its timeline (i.e. the "past": year 2344...) was to be destroyed along with its entire crew; however having entered a space-time anomaly and traveling to the future, the ship and its crew survived and the "course of events" changed dramatically, since an alien civilization that was to be an ally (the Klingons) had become a bitter enemy of the Federation of Planets. 

In other words, something happened that should not happen...

Leaving aside the science fiction and back to reality, I’m afraid that the space-time structure in which we are involved is far more complex than we might understand and every single act has consequences that we can’t really measure... 

Here is another example of great detail and very good paint / tampos of this Japanese brand: Furuta. I love the color scheme and overall design of this Ambassador class Enterprise that "was" produced in a fictional future, in 2292.

U.S.S. Voyager NCC-74656 Star Trek Federation Ships & Alien Ships Collection Miniature Display Model by Furuta

Cada vez me sorprendo más por la gran cantidad de información que hay detrás de una pieza aparentemente genérica. 

Stark Trek, una franquicia archi-conocida tiene entre sus curiosidades una serie de TV emitida entre 1995 y 2001 (la cuarta serie desde la creación de la original en 1960), a la que pertenece la réplica en miniatura publicada hoy. 

La historia relata la travesía de esta nave y su tripulación que al perseguir a otra nave rebelde de Maquis (organización paramilitar), resultan transportadas a 70.000 años luz de distancia del Cuadrante Alfa (donde comenzó la persecución)... 

Esto no resultaría muy "conmovedor" de no ser porque este inesperado "translado" (por cuenta de una fuerza alienígena llamada Caretaker) les implicaba un viaje de regreso de 75 años, con la tecnología terrestre disponible en el siglo XXIV. 

La nave en sí pertenece a la Intrepid Class, una de las más avanzadas de la Federación de Planetas. Con aproximadamente 355 m de largo y 700,000 toneladas métricas de peso (en su hipotética versión real) no sería precisamente pequeña y sus características adicionales la hacen un verdadero crucero estelar multipropósito (¿la SUV del futuro? HAHAHA). 

Que el SEÑOR cuide de nosotros esta semana y nos veremos la semana entrante... =)

Every time I find myself more surprised for the large amount of information available behind an apparently generic piece. 

Stark Trek, a well-known franchise has among its curiosities a TV series aired from 1995 to 2001 (the fourth series since the original creation in 1960), to which belongs the miniature replica published today. 

The story chronicles the journey of this ship and its crew to pursue other rebel ship of Maquis (paramilitary organization), and they’re transported 70,000 light years away from the Alpha Quadrant (where the chase started)... 

This wouldn’t be very "moving" if not for the fact that this unexpected "transfer" (on behalf of an alien force called Caretaker) would imply a return trip of 75 years, with the terrestrial technology available in the 24th century. 

The starship itself belongs to the Intrepid Class, one of the most advanced in the Federation of Planets. With approximately 355 m long and 700,000 metric tons of weight (in its hypothetical actual version) wouldn’t be precisely tiny and its additional features make it a multipurpose stellar cruiser (the SUV of the future? HAHAHA). 

May the LORD take care of us this week and we have an appointment next week... =)

Ferengi Marauder Star Trek Federation Ships & Alien Ships Collection Miniature Display Model by Furuta

¿Han escuchado de la codicia en los negocios?... 

¿No?... 

Yo tampoco... 

¿Cuándo se ha visto eso?... 

¿O han sabido del placer morboso que algunos comerciantes sienten al defraudar a otro en un mal negocio?... 

Debe ser una especie de mito...

Y si hoy hicieramos un viaje, ¿sería de negocios o de placer?... Si usted es un habitante del planeta Ferenginar, no hay ninguna diferencia, para ellos hacer negocios es casi orgásmico. 

Sí, ya sé, Star Trek es una serie de ciencia ficción... Pero cualquier parecido con la realidad es pura coincidencia (!?)...

Furuta ha hecho un excelente trabajo en estas reproducciones de naves espaciales, que en su mayoría requieren algún ensamble, pero la que presento hoy viene en una sola pieza. 

En su versión "real" se trata de una nave de guerra y transporte, de tecnología a la orden del día (claro, en el siglo 24), cuenta con torpedos de energía y lanzador de misiles y un arma de pulso magnético, lo que la hace temible en combate. 

Tiene un diseño atractivo y su forma me recuerda la de una mantarraya... 

Por favor, no olviden que tenemos una cita la próxima semana, con la ayuda de DIOS =)

Or would you have known about the guilty pleasure that some traders feel into defraud someone else in a bad deal?... 

Must be a sort of myth...

And if today we make a trip, it would be for business or pleasure?.. If you’re an inhabitant of the planet Ferenginar, there is no difference, for them doing business is almost orgasmic. 

Yes, I know, Star Trek is a sci-fi series... But any resemblance to reality is purely coincidental (!?)...

Furuta has made an excellent job in these replicas of stracrafts, most of which require some assembly, but the one I’m presenting today comes in one piece. 

In its "actual" version is a war and transport spaceship with technology to the agenda (of course, in the 24th century), it features energy torpedoes, missile launchers and a magnetic pulse weapon, which makes it formidable in combat. 

It has an attractive design and its shape reminds me of a manta ray...
