Uhmmmm... characters with attitude, preferably with a bad attitude, are the ones who sharpen my senses. The rest can stay on Discovery Kids...
Roy Thomas, Gary Friedrich and Mike Ploog breathed life into an antihero (not villain) called Ghost Rider, based on a comic character of the western genre, in 1972.
The first incarnation of this character was given in Johnny Blaze, a circus stunt rider, who makes a pact with a demon called Mephisto to give his soul in exchange for the cure of his stepfather.
Finally his stepfather dies and when Mephisto comes to enforce the pact, Blaze rebels himself, but his soul is united with the spirit of a demon called Zarathos, who gives him his new look and powers.
Later Daniel Ketch takes his place, although the latter is attached to a spirit of vengeance called Ghost Rider (the original) so that his powers and characteristics vary a bit from the first Ghost Rider.
Both of them even worked together to fight other demons and to punish the souls of criminals, corrupts and murderers.
In the "World War Hulk" series, is found that this antihero is so powerful that he could face and defeat the Hulk.
Among his skills it can be mentioned the handling of a power called "Hellfire" to use it as a weapon, he’s immune to any attack with conventional weapons, he can create chains that also use as weapons and control them at will, he can travel to other planes of reality as well.
The second Ghost Rider has a mystical chain that uses as a weapon, a power called "Penance Stare" that "burns" the soul of his victim by exposing to each and every one of their sins and his motorcycle can nearly fly across any surface, meaning vertical and horizontal.
This figure that is part of the collection of another colleague of mine, is based on the second Ghost Rider (Daniel Ketch), is 6" high, with 37 points of articulation, a pretty decent paint job like its molding and is supplemented by a fabulous motorcycle, a 32 pages comic book and a wall mountable display stand.
Definitely, as in the case of other figures from the Marvel Legends series of Toy Biz, this piece tends to be out of stock/sold out and increases significantly its value over time...

Holy Burnin H3ll! Its ghost rider!
Though i only known him in the movie, this guy is pretty sick in action, plus the flaming chain.
Err, I liked the chopper bike version better, but this one looks like it can smash through everything without worrying about damage, or scratched paint^^;;
Chris how you know it's me? it maybe some of my reader who come to your blog? LOL
I will try to comment more. it's pretty hard to come out something if I have nothing for it you know. :)
Anyway hope to see more paragraphing as sometime it's rather hard for me to read all the wall of text at one paragraph. Ya that's my complain too. :P

LOL... i’ll hav in mind ur suggestion & i’ll implement this modification in other extensive post, hehehe... i already do that in this post, so i hope it will b better for my visitors =PPPPPPP LOL
Ghost Rider is unique in the sense than his power and outlook are very different from other typical superheroes. I would say he belongs more to the super natural side. The bike and figure gives it a modern and futuristic feel. I think it's great!
absolutely Dennis... Ghost Rider belongs to a recent cast of warriors, a different kind of heroes (antiheroes) arising from the most unexpected places, in this case from Hell... & if u ask me if from Hell can arises something good, i’ll answer u categorically: NOT AT ALL... but this is fiction, u know. In this sense, this characters is similar to Spawn... bout the bike, i forgot to mention that it remainds me as well the bike of Blade, but if u want something more futuristic, there is a Ghost Rider version 2099 in comic... LOL
