In my humble opinion, there are some things that should not be allowed to happen...
For example, is a great shame that the fantastic brand Pontiac, part of the General Motors Company just disappeared or died in 2010.
And worse than that, its final was as a trashy brand, with its singular emblem placed on trivial vehicles that couldn’t honor its heritage.
I think is my responsibility to pay a tribute to the Pontiac legacy in the best way I can: with mini replicas.
Pontiac created the Muscle Cars segment with its GTO in 1964, which was indeed an optional kit for the Pontiac Tempest (a fairly intelligent move to pass through a General Motors restriction).
The Pontiac history is so interesting that I will share some things in future publications. By the moment, I will focus on the model I’m publishing this time, a 1967 Pontiac GTO Convertible.
We are talking about a medium size vehicle with a full size engine, great combination for great performance (in the top, a 400 CID V8, 6.6 L with a Rochester Quadrajet four-barrel carburetor, 360 bhp at 5100 rpm and 438 ft-lbf at 3600 rpm... Translation: I’m a lightning, bore!).
Thanks to my privileges as compulsive buyer... I mean, frequent and selective buyer, I managed to get this nice diecast individually, since it’s only available in a 10 boxset, with a special paint job in midnight blue and flames decor, also with golden wheels.
My only complaint: the work on the interiors is kinda nitwit (specially compared with the work by Johnny Lightning), but overall I accepted it as part of my collection.
If I’m here next week is because the Lord Jesus Christ arranged it that way, so... Hasta la vista, baby!... =)

wow! I think I haven't seen this model by Hotwheels. you're right, paint job is great and I just love those flames. the color scheme made it look expensive... it will be better if they made it rubber tires.
this one is a great catch! congrats on this ;)
yeah !!! you have an expert eye... is a rare model with an exclusive paint job, not available in individual card... i agree that rubber tires would fit nicely this Pontiac, but the normal wheels with golden finish are pretty fine too... i’m glad that you have good taste... like i do LOLOLOL... your visits and comments are welcome =)
Not sure if you watch WWE... This car looks like the type Eddie Guerrero would choose for his entry. Latino Heat Baby.... This car has got character...
you could be sure i’m not watching WWE (but i did... somehow... somewhere... LOL)... i’m pretty sure someone with good taste would consider seriously to have one of these cars in the real life, because is an eye candy... THX for dropping by pal =)
Convertible car is fun, I have a red Porsche Boxter with 2.7L engine, its not the most powerful but very fun to drive but drink lots of petrol also :-(
Then again that is a 2 seater roadster... and this one is a real convertible with 4 seater which is much better, now also known as "cabriolet" - I guess the actual car of this scale die cast model can be quiet a fun big car to drive on the road especially if you have many girls with you....
you could have so much fun with more room for more girls ♥♥♥♥♥ XDDDDD... something almost as important as that, is that this convertible has a lot of personality... is a Pontiac, is a GTO and heck, is a furious consumer of gasoline but you don’t regret anything !!!
