¡Soy un hombre de familia!... Está bien, está bien, no tengo mi propia esposa e hijos amorosos todavía, pero ciertamente vine de una familia; de la cual estoy orgulloso, aún con todas nuestras "cosas", ya saben...
Obviamente ese sentimiento familiar se manifiesta en mis gustos, cuando se trata de vehículos y todo lo demás, soy un ser humano después de todo... =DDDDD
Un Muscle Car americano difícilmente podría ser considerado un auto familiar con su configuración estándar: coupé, 2+2 (¡a menos que estemos hablando de una familia loca por la velocidad, incomodidad y estrechez HA!).
Pero los fabricantes de autos piensan en todo y por eso existen las vagonetas familiares (station wagons)...
Esta clase de vehículos es, en general, un concepto norteamericano creado por allá en los 30s del siglo pasado, que fue adaptado en otros países alrededor del mundo con resultados disímiles.
Compatiré más información sobre este tema en otras publicaciones relacionadas, por ahora nos concentraremos en este modelo en particular...
No fue a propósito que en mi reseña anterior, el tema fuera un Oldsmobile. De hecho, es mi orden aleatorio de publicaciones funcionando de nuevo =PPPPP...
Sin embargo, la Station Wagon Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser de 1971 esta basada en el F-85 / Cutlass sedán, así que es una especie de prima hermosa y grande del Olds 442.
A pesar de su gran tamaño (¡más de 5 metros de largo!), le hacía honor a su nombre Vista, con una vista panorámica virtualmente completa, gracias a las ventanas a todo alrededor de la cabina y claraboya montada en el techo.
El diseño más bien deportivo del F-85 / Cutlass coupé / sedán, se ve muy conservador en el "traje" de vagoneta familiar, pero hay mucho espacio, no solo para una familia grande sino para un surtido de motores grandiosos.
Empezando por uno de 350 pulgadas cúbicas, 5.7 L, Rocket V8 y terminando con uno de 455 pulgadas cúbicas, 7.5 L, Rocket V8...
¡Incluso una versión Pace Car fue modificada especialmente por Hurst Performance para la Indianapolis 500 de 1972!...
Tiempo para Matchbox de arreglarme el día, con este estupendo vehículo de juguete.
Todo está en su lugar correcto aquí: molde super detallado, excelente trabajo de pintura que incluye una tampografía simulando molduras de madera, bonito interior con un par de mascotas en la parte trasera y vidrios tintados.
Carrocería en diecast y chasis en plástico cromado... Uhmmm, este modelo merece realmente ruedas de caucho, pero no haré ese tipo de personalización =PPPPP...

I’m a family man!... OK, OK, I don’t have my own lovely wife and kiddos yet, but certainly I came from a family; which I’m proud of, even with all our "things", you know...

An American Muscle Car hardly could be considered a family car with its standard configuration: coupe, 2+2 (unless we’re taking about a family crazy for speed, discomfort and tightness LOL!).
But the car manufacturers think in everything and that’s why exist the station wagons...
This kind of vehicle is mostly an American concept, created back in the 30s of the last century, which was adapted in other countries around the world with different results.
I will share more info about this topic in other publications related, for now we will focus on this model in particular...
It was not on purpose that in my previous post, the subject were an Oldsmobile. In fact, is my random order of publications working again =PPPPP...
However, the 1971 Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser Station Wagon is based on the F-85 / Cutlass sedan, so it’s a sort of beautiful and big cousin of the Olds 442.
Despite its big size (more than 5 meters long!), it lived up to its name Vista, with a virtually complete panoramic view, thanks to the windows all around the cabin and a roof-mounted skylight.
The rather sporty design of the F-85 / Cutlass coupe / sedan, looks very conservative in the "suit" of station wagon, but there is a lot of space, not only for a big family but for an assortment of great engines.
Starting with a 350 cu in, 5.7 L, Rocket V8 and finishing with a 455 cu in, 7.5 L, Rocket V8...

Time for Matchbox to make my day with this stupendous toy vehicle.
Everything is in its right place here: super detailed casting, excellent paint job that includes a pad printing job simulating wood trim, nice interiors with a pair of pets in the back and tinted windows.
Diecast body with plastic chrome chassis... Uhmmm, this model truly deserves rubber tires but I will not make that kind of customization =PPPPP...

I like Wagon, fun family car for outings on the beach or something like that.
I saw the same models from Hot Wheels available in the local shops here, not many people in my place like this Wagon, maybe because its an American car so they don't appreciate it that much.
Someday I plan to get one and customize it maybe.... but not so soon and no rush for this one coz its a lot out there.
Vista Cruiser by Hot Wheels ??? as far as i know, this casting is not available in HW, only in MBX... maybe you saw other version of this MBX (it has 4 or 5 variations in decor)... i know, not many people love these station wagons since is an american concept and they’re big, most of people are used to tiny cars...

Family man here too and life is good! If I'm to buy a car, a 7-seater is my consideration but car in Singapore is way too expensive for average Joe. Sweet touch on the pet at the rear. Maybe do some painting to the pets and it might look even more realistic.
HAHA... here we go with a happy husband and father, what a bless !!!... i thought that to buy a car in Singapore was way easier, ’cause here the prices for vehicles have fallen quite a bit and so our streets are crowded with them =/////... a touch-up like the one you mentioned is too hard for me yet !!! but i will do my best with something i have handy... =)
