ENGLISH For those who know about the Ford Mustang, is a matter of fact that this is a special, charismatic and powerful vehicle, a symbol of the american way of life, known in the whole world. It began as a Pony Car, but evolved as Muscle Car and in both cases, managed to make itself a respectable name.
However, it seems to be not enough for some people who saw the potential of this vehicle, I mean, that it could be the platform for a world class exotic sports car.
Let’s say that the giant Ford sought support in a reputed company specialized in high performance: Shelby American Inc. to improve the already great performance of its Mustang and create the famous Ford Mustang Shelby GT500.
But the story doesn’t end there, actually they thought that more power and performance could be squeezed from this beast and an engineering division inside of Shelby, developed a super high performance car.
This is an american purebred sports car, a leviathan that transforms a wild horse into a venomous war horse, ready to bite hard.
The Mustang DNA is present in the body design and I love the new generation, because the designers / stylists were faithful to the original silhouette and at the same time added the correct dose of futurism, to keep it current with the last trends.
Being a sports car, several modifications were necessary to manage the overdose of power, both internal and external, but the heart of this monster is a 5.4 L, supercharged V8 engine, rated at furious 750 hp!...
I think this is more than enough to whet your appetite (for destruction) WOOOHOOO!...
If only they could improve the traction to transfer those 750 hp completely to the road (maybe a 4WD?), it could be a more serious contender for any european super sport car, except that it offers a premium performance for a fraction of the price of any of them so, it’s better in that sense!...
The guest for today is officially from a Regular series of Hot Wheels (HW Showroom), but infact it belongs to the line known as Treasure Hunts...
I already mentioned some of the special features of this line, for example: it uses the same standard card of the Regular lines, but it had some distinctive marks like the name of the line, either in the bottom or in the right side of the card and after some time, it was complemented by a green strip which facilitated its recognition.
Also, it made easier for the hoarders / scalpers to monopolize the production and start a spiral of price speculation.
For a while, it was OK for HW, but then the collectors like me, began to protest this disgusting practice (which is seriously, a very bad publicity!) so, they decided to take action on the matter.
The result was that they eliminated any sign in the card of the Treasure Hunts line and even the car itself doesn’t have the usual "TH" mark in the decor.
I think is a step in the right way and I hope it will improve, at least a little, the availability of this kind of products for the true collectors (me included, of course! =PPPPP).
This model is a great addition to the TH Series, it was designed by Phil Riehlman, the casting is very well worked, with the right dose of detail and even the side rearview mirrors were included (a very unusual feature in HW).
Diecast body with black plastic chassis, the paint is very good (in green, with Metalflake finishing), while the tampos are interesting (something that let you guess if it’s actually a TH or not) and the wheels design in gold fits like a glove this outstanding car...
2 Tim 2:24-26 "And the servant of the LORD must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, in meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if GOD peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; and that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will."
I don't really fancy Ford cars... but if it's Shelby then it's a different story... nonetheless I dislike the green color on this one, between the 2 of them there, I prefer the 2 from Johnny Lightning as they have better detailing color scheme plus the openable engine hood.
you don’t like Ford ??? you gotta be kidding me !!!... this company has made some of the most sweet cars ever !!!... maybe you should reconsider your opinion LOLOLOLOL... i found this model quite nice and is a gift from my mom, of course is not as detailed as the JLs but it’s still above the average in diecast by HW !!! =)

My alternate blog in WordPress
From now, I will be publishing basically the same contents in both blogs, but for reviews before March 18, 2019, you must read my Blogger blog...
I’m a professional graphic designer and a restful collector, but above all: I’m someone who doesn’t take for granted anything, just because someone else says so. I think this hobby goes way beyond buying stuff here and there: anybody with money can buy collectibles, but not anybody becomes collector by doing so. I think as well that this hobby is, more than anything, about knowledge, about making sense of what happens around us and just like any other kind of knowledge, if it’s devoid of ethics, is worthless. I like to address topics around collectionism, including, but not limited to: history, industry, forums, groups, collectors, distributors, sellers, etc. I’m fully aware that criticism is essential for our hobby: everything is susceptible of improvement and we the collectors demand quality, but the industry around it doesn’t necessarily shares that vision. After all, well-targeted criticism always helps to detect failures and correct them, it’s like critical thinking: it helps you see things as they really are and not just as how they are presented to you. If you are someone who likes to look beyond the surface, welcome, if that is not the case, continue at your own risk...
