Yo no pretendo ser el gurú en asuntos de autos, creo que hay muchas personas por ahí que bien podrían ser consideradas enciclopedias ambulantes.
Posiblemente a esas enciclopedias humanas no haya mucho que las sorprenda en cuestión de autos, pero a mí si.
Por ejemplo, aunque ya sabía que las pickups hacían parte de Hall de la Fama de los Muscle Cars, apenas cuando preparaba esta publicación, aprendí que ese tipo de vehículo (pickups) fue creado tan lejos como en 1918, con modelos de Dodge y Chevrolet (Ford entró al ring más tardíamente, en 1925) y cuya característica básica era su capacidad de carga: 1/2 tonelada.
De hecho fue la guerra (I Guerra Mundial) la que impulsó la producción de estos vehículos, que luego pasaron al uso civil.
La vedette que hoy se toma esta pasarela virtual es la inconfundible Camioneta Pickup Chevrolet 3100 de 1952.
Se trata de un vehículo con un diseño voluminoso, curvilíneo y elegante, que originalmente traía un motor más orientado a la fuerza que a la velocidad; es decir, un desempeño que para un Muscle Car sencillamente resultaba muy pálido, pero he visto numerosos ejemplos de estas Chevys 52 modificadas y con un desempeño soberbio, como este ejemplo creado por Hot Wheels y ¡diseñado por Larry Wood!...
Como siempre, confiando en DIOS, la próxima semana podrán echar un vistazo a alguna otra delicadeza dentro mi colección, los espero... =)

I’m not pretending to be a guru in car’s matters, I think there are many people out there who could be considered as walking encyclopedias.
Possibly these human encyclopedias will not be surprised too much with some facts about cars, but I do.
For example, although I knew that the pickups were part of the Hall of Fame of the Muscle Cars, just when I was preparing this publication, I learned that this kind of vehicle (pickups) was created as far as in 1918, with models from Dodge and Chevrolet (Ford entered the ring later, in 1925), and which key feature was their payload: 1/2 ton.

It’s a vehicle with a bulky, curved and sleek design, which originally brought an engine designed more for strength than for speed; which means, a performance that for a Muscle Car results very pale, but I have seen numerous examples of ’52 Chevy pickups modified and with a superb performance, like this example created by Hot Wheels and designed by Larry Wood!...

There's no Chevrolet logo at the bonnet but the nice imprint on the sides tell is all. Better to focus on the collection you like best. There's no wrong to it.

esta caminonetica en la vida real me parece reseverenda, superclásica, de rechupete !!! lo que me pude dar cuenta de esta serie Hotwheels Classics, es que todos los modelos (y son 5 series de 30 vehículos cada una, hasta donde yo sé) tienen ese acabado cromado con recubrimiento de pintura electróstatica que les queda de lujo... =)

the problem bro is... i have no focus in my collection HAHAHAHAHA... although cars r certainly one of the things i like the most =O... lately the vehicles r present so often in my publications, but that doesn’t mean that i don’t like other kind of collection figures as u already know... THX for ur visit =)
