Esos que toman a la ligera las camionetas pickup y especialmente los modelos hechos por Ford, deberían considerar el hecho que la línea Ford F-100 tiene una historia de más de 60 años y eso sin contar los modelos anteriores, creados desde 1925, cuando la línea F-100 no era ni siquiera un proyecto... 

Esto es mucho más de lo que podemos darnos el lujo de decir sobre otra clase de vehículos y las camionetas pickup tienen una posición fuerte en el mercado automotriz, con incluso más modelos en la etapa de autos conceptuales, esperando por una oportunidad de ser un sueño hecho realidad, para sus leales usuarios... 

Al comienzo, las primeras camionetas pickup debieron ser consideradas una especie de bicho raro, la gente estaba acostumbrada a los tractores, los coupés y muy raramente ellos podían ver un sedán, principalmente porque este último era un símbolo de estatus o riqueza y la gente, en aquella época, estaba apenas cambiándose de la era agrícola a la era industrial. 

Y la cosa curiosa acerca de esto, es que estos vehículos (las camionetas pickup) fueron creados con esta gente de la era agrícola en mente. 

Es toda una curiosidad como un "vehículo rural", usado esencialmente por granjeros para cargar sus productos e insumos, llegó a ser otro "habitante de la ciudad", pero lo hizo y algunas personas no pueden concebir sus vidas y trabajos, sin una camioneta pickup. 

El rol de estos vehículos en la ciudad fue básicamente el mismo que tenían antes: un vehículo de trabajo, incluso en décadas posteriores muchas compañías, especialmente del segmento de logística, compraron (y todavía compran) flotillas completas. 

Sin embargo, la gente como tú y yo, vió potencial para estas camionetas pickup en otras áreas, por ejemplo como vehículos recreativos / off-road y en el caso de los modelos más antiguos, ¡se convirtieron en parte del Hall de la Fama como Hot Rods, Rat Rods, Lowriders e incluso como vehículos de competencia!... 

Estoy planeando hablar un poco más sobre las especificaciones de la Camioneta Pickup Ford F-100 Custom de 1956 en una publicación futura, ¡así que sigan conectados!... 

No muchas veces, tengo la oportunidad de encontrar una joya entre la avalancha de modelos recientes lanzados por Hot Wheels. 

Esta marca tiene un amplio mercado que cubrir y el gusto de los verdaderos coleccionistas es "algo" difícil de complacer... 

Lo que es una belleza sobre ruedas para unos, es solo basura para otros, pero un Hot Rod clásico es una apuesta segura para cualquier fabricante de diecast. 

Este modelo en particular (la Camioneta Pickup Ford F-100 de 1956) tiene otras dos versiones, una de ellas denominada ’56 Hi-Tail Hauler (t.c.c. Good Ol' Pick-Um-Up), un molde vintage de las líneas Regulares que en la actualidad está disponible solo en la línea RLC y la ’56 Ford F-100 de la Serie Hot Wheels 100%; ambas basadas en la pickup original. 

A diferencia de las últimas, este molde es una versión personalizada, con un estilo Lowrider donde el techo fue claramente cortado y rebajado, el capó fue cortado para hacer espacio para una toma de aire, también el platón fue cortado para revelar parte de la suspensión/transmisión trasera e incluye un tanque extra, pero no sé sobre su propósito. 

Este modelo fue lanzado por primera vez en 2007, como parte de la Serie Ultra Hots, línea Adulta y sorprendentemente presentaba apertura de capó hasta 2009, cuando esta característica fue eliminada (otra "brillante" idea para rebajar costos =@@@@@). 

Los modelos que estoy publicando tienen una construcción de carrocería y chasis en diecast, también el nivel de detalle y proporción están bastante bien. 

Los trabajos de pintura y tampos son imponentes. 

El de la Serie Boulevard (línea Adulta) tiene una personalidad muy clásica, combinando marrón policromado con beige plano y algunos acentos en violeta, tiene ruedas de caucho tipo Real Riders con llantas White Wall y rimes Moon Disc, que lucen perfectos; los interiores, la entrada de aire, motor y detalles en el platón de la camioneta son cromados. 

Por otra parte, el modelo de la Serie HW Showroom (línea Regular) tiene un trabajo de pintura increíble en color ciruela perlado y una decoración feroz con llamas en verde ácido y amarillo, tiene ruedas plásticas con rimes 5 Spokes; los interiores, entrada de aire, motor, detalles en el platón de la camioneta y rimes son dorados. 

Esta es la clase de moldes que mueve las ventas, pero ¿por qué ellos eliminaron la apertura del capó?... 

¡Algunas personas en Hot Wheels deberían eliminar más bien el aserrín en sus cerebros! =PPPPP...

Those who take slightly the pickup trucks and specially the models made by Ford, should consider the fact that the Ford F-100 line has a history of more than 60 years and that without counting the previous models, created since 1925, when the F-100 line was not even a project... 

This is much more than what we can afford to say about other kind of vehicles and the pickup trucks have nowadays a strong position in the automotive market, with even more models in the concept car stage, waiting for a chance to be a dream come true for their loyal users... 

In the beginning, the first pickup trucks should be considered a sort of oddball, the people was used to the tractors, the coupes and very rarely they could see a sedan, mainly because the latter was a symbol of status or wealth and the people, at that time, was barely changing from the agricultural era to the industrial era. 

And the curious thing about it, is that these vehicles (the pickup trucks) were created with those people of the agricultural era in mind. 

Is a whole curiosity how a "rural vehicle", used essentially by farmers to carry their products and supplies, became another "city inhabitant", but it did and some people could not conceive their lifes and works, without a pickup truck. 

The role of these vehicles in the city was basically the same they had before: a working vehicle, even in later decades many companies, specially in the logistics segment, purchased (and still purchase) complete fleets. 

However, the people like you and me, saw potencial for these pickup trucks in other areas, for instance as recreative / off-road vehicles and in the case of the older models, they became part of the Hall of Fame as Hot Rods, Rat Rods, Lowriders and even as racing vehicles!...

Not many times, I have the chance to find a gem among the avalanche of recent models released by Hot Wheels. 

This brand has a wide market to cover and the taste of true collectors is "kinda" hard to please... 

What is a beauty on wheels for some, is just rubbish for others, but a classic Hot Rod is always a safe bet for any diecast manufacturer. 

This particular model (the 1956 Ford F-100 Pickup Truck) has other two versions, one of them dubbed ’56 Hi-Tail Hauler (a.k.a. Good Ol' Pick-Um-Up), a vintage casting from the Regular lines which nowadays is only available in the RLC line and the ’56 Ford F-100 from the Hot Wheels 100% Series; both based on the original pickup. 

Unlike the latter, this cast is a customized version, with a Lowrider style where the roof was clearly cutted off and lowered, the hood was chopped to make room for an air scoop, also the bed was chopped to reveal part of the rear suspension / transmission and it includes an extra tank, but I have no idea about its purpose. 

This model was released for the first time in 2007, as part of the Ultra Hots Series, Adult line and surprisingly it featured openable hood until 2009, when this feature was removed (another "bright" idea to cut down costs =@@@@@). 

The models I’m publishing have a diecast body and chassis construction, also the level of detail and proportion are pretty fine. 

The paint job and tampos are awesome. 

The one from the Boulevard Series (Adult line) has a very classic feeling, combining brown polychrome with plain beige and some accents in violet, it has Real Riders rubber tires with White Wall and Moon Disc wheels, which look perfect; the interiors, the hood scoop, engine and details on the truck bed are chrome. 

On the other hand, the model from the HW Showroom Series (Regular line) has an incredible paint job in pearl plum color and a fierce decor with flames in acid green and yellow, it has plastic tires with 5 Spoke wheels; the interiors, the hood scoop, engine, details on the truck bed and wheels are golden. 

This is the kind of castings that moves the sales, but why they removed the openable hood?... 

Some people in Hot Wheels should remove instead the saw dust in their brains! =PPPPP...
