ENGLISH When I began my reviews about diecast vehicles, I published a pair of models of a friend of mine (collector as well), which I found quite interesting and very well designed.
What surprised me most, was the fact that these were made by Majorette (when Majorette and Solido, two french manufacturers of diecast scale replicas, that came together to survive this competitive market).
This is not the kind of stuff you can expect from this old and reputed brand.
Actually, not even the approach of this particular line is the usual, because most of the brands that release diecast models, featuring a comic franchise, simply choose to create a related decoration, over their regular models.
However, Majorette went further, creating items that somehow represent the essence of the corresponding character in the design itself of the vehicle.
You can see and feel the agility, craftiness and youth of Peter Parker as Spidy in these fantastic diecast.
Some changes have been occurring inside Majorette and I feel that not everything is going in the right way.
Until now, the new owners (Simba-Dickie Group), follow the same trend of other massive diecast manufacturers: "cut costs at all cost" and I think that you will not see the old scale replicas with great detail, features like opening hood, doors or trunks (depending on the model) and diecast body / chassis, made in France; at least, not at an affordable price...
Fortunately, these luscious models are from the "French Era" and yep they were made in China, but recently this huge country became the place, where one of the most qualified workforce for diecast production, is available...
If you don’t believe me, I confirmed that my two astonishing AUTOart diecasts, already published, that you can watch here and here, were made there =PPPPP).
I didn’t expect to get not even one, but thanks to my friends / colleagues / providers I got two instead!...
They feature great and dynamic design, also nice and convincing paint job / tampos.
Diecast chassis with plastic body (I have no complaint about that this time), plastic tires and superb rims design (chrome), with multipart construction, really charming overall!...
Jos 1:8-9 "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for JEHOVA thy GOD is with thee whithersoever, thou goest."
I guess by now u know that I am old fashion type and obsessed with "almost realistic" elements in toy cars... so yeah, I dislike the car but I love the color scheme on this one, its very hard to produce such finishing - multi color on 1 body - simply awesome!!!
yep, i know that and is pretty fine... i mean, when i’m looking for something realistic i’m very very picky (so i’m very old fashioned as you, in a sense LOL) but when i’m looking for something weird then realism is not the priority but the quality and these diecast are just awesome !!!... as you mentioned, the color scheme is so neat that you couldn’t believe it (paint job and tampos are perfectly accurate =OOOOO)... i have not seen this level of accuracy in this scale so far... =)
HEHEHE... actually i realized that the best way to get what you really want is through the help of friends/colleagues, since they can really understand your needs and find the best price most of the times... this was one of the right moves for Majorette (in the old good times) and yep, the cars are striking !!!... =)
HEHE... it must be the fact that i loved the diecast mini-replicas long before i met the comic/anime worlds and i collected them "systematically" when i was a kid LOLOLOLOLOL... it just flows... you should try, is not that hard... oh, Majorette does know how to make really nice models... at least in the old good times... =)
actually i lost many treasures from my infancy... you know, the carelessness, if only i were more careful ;(((((... but they still bring back many good memories and i enjoy’em a lot !!!... =D

From now, I will be publishing basically the same contents in both blogs, but for reviews before March 18, 2019, you must read my Blogger blog...
I’m a professional graphic designer and a restful collector, but above all: I’m someone who doesn’t take for granted anything, just because someone else says so. I think this hobby goes way beyond buying stuff here and there: anybody with money can buy collectibles, but not anybody becomes collector by doing so. I think as well that this hobby is, more than anything, about knowledge, about making sense of what happens around us and just like any other kind of knowledge, if it’s devoid of ethics, is worthless. I like to address topics around collectionism, including, but not limited to: history, industry, forums, groups, collectors, distributors, sellers, etc. I’m fully aware that criticism is essential for our hobby: everything is susceptible of improvement and we the collectors demand quality, but the industry around it doesn’t necessarily shares that vision. After all, well-targeted criticism always helps to detect failures and correct them, it’s like critical thinking: it helps you see things as they really are and not just as how they are presented to you. If you are someone who likes to look beyond the surface, welcome, if that is not the case, continue at your own risk...

Unique design and rich spidey taste. With good friends and colleague, getting good toys won't be an uphill task.

You really can write about die cast cars. For me I cant think much to write about them. HAHA!
The colours from this series are so vibrant!
