B•Daman Blasters Customizable Battle Figures Group 2 by Hasbro

For most of people, these figure are nothing more than an item more or less attractive on a shelf, but what they ignore is that, apart from the value and meaning for a collector, there is a game culture behind them.

The idea of introducing these characters and game strategy in 1993, was from neither more nor less than Takara Tomy and it was developed initially in Japan.

There are numerous ways to play (at least 20), each one with rather simple rules and requires basically three elements: a B•Daman, a B•Daball and a target.

Takara has been responsible for organizing many tournaments in nippon territory and later Hasbro, in 2005, acquired the rights to operate the franchise in the U.S.A. and Canada.

I will continue with more interesting facts about these figures in other publications, but I think that what I’ve posted so far will give all of you a less-limited vision about the B•Daman’s phenomenon and perhaps you will appreciate these pieces differently, as I do.

This group includes: Wing Viper, Solar Rekuso and Sonic Khan. I will be waiting here next week, with the help of GOD... =)

Interesting to know the history of these B.Daman from the time they were licensed under Tomy and later Takara Tomy (I believed Tomy was bought over by Takara) and later introduced to the western region under the distribution license of Hasbro.

I saw some toys like that even for bomber man. it is a fun concept and normally the ball is a marble ball of some kind.

the concept is pretty simple & for that very reason is easy to enjoy, sometimes the games become too complicated & leave the fun factor out there... the toys themselves r very good looking & sturdy, the marble is made of some kind of resin (myb acrylic) that feels & has a weight similar to glass... THX for u comment & visit LEon =)
