Un diseño excepcional no carece de tensiones, incluso confrontaciones, entre los diferentes profesionales/artistas involucrados en su creación.
Lamborghini está siempre en mi mente cuando estoy pensando en diseño excepcional, de hecho, es la primera marca en mi lista de fabricantes de autos deportivos exquisitos.
A esta compañía no le molesta crear controversia, en realidad Ferruccio Lamborghini decidió crear su primer coche deportivo, a causa de una controversia con otro reputado y pretencioso creador de autos deportivos: Enzo Ferrari...
Creo que fue la única cosa que hizo bien Enzo -y los fanáticos a rabiar de Ferrari pueden publicar sus insultos dentro de los siguientes paréntesis: () HAHAHA...
¡Bueno, me fascina la controversia así que, mejor que se vayan acostumbrando! =PPPPP...
Ahora, retornando a nuestro tema principal, esta publicación en particular es sobre un carro pionero, un modelo que partió la historia de los autos deportivos en dos, no solo para las marcas relacionadas más importantes, sino para la misma Lamborghini.
Es nada más ni nada menos que el Countach, más precisamente el Lamborghini Countach 25º Aniversario de 1988.
Este extraordinario vehículo fue creado después del maravilloso Lamborghini Miura y era la obra maestra de un diseñador joven y sin experiencia (en esa época) del Gruppo Bertone: Marcello Gandini (uhmmmm... ¡Parece ser mi diseñador italiano de coches favorito!).
Su silueta de cuña es absolutamente única y tan distintiva, que marcó el parámetro para los modelos subsiguientes hasta el presente.
El Countach era (y es) diferente a cualquier cosa en el mercado de los carros exóticos, su diseño modular / geométrico / trapezoidal, desafió los esquemas existentes sobre como debería ser un auto deportivo.
La estética fue el énfasis principal del primer prototipo: el Lamborghini Countach LP 500, pero tuvo numerosos cambios para mejorar el desempeño, aerodinámica, manejo, ergonomía y otras consideraciones técnicas.
Comencé esta publicación mencionando "tensiones y confrontaciones"...
Bueno, el prototipo del Countach fue un ícono delirante del estilo para todos, excepto para los ingenieros automotrices, que no se sintieron muy cómodos con su deliciosa extravagancia.
El Countach evolucionó, pero no necesariamente llegó a ser más hermoso que el modelo original lanzado para la Exposición Automotriz de Ginebra en 1971.
El diseño extremadamente escultural, incorporó más innovaciones, como las puerta de tijera (que podían ser abiertas levantándolas y empujándolas hacia adelante) o la carrocería en aluminio de grado aeronáutico sobre un marco tubular espacial (muy ligero, pero tremendamente fuerte).
Sin embargo, el concepto original fue alterado progresivamente y para el modelo del 25º Aniversario, fueron añadidas y/o re-estilizadas varias entradas de aire (necesarias para el enfriamiento adecuado del motor), parachoques y molduras, las luces de cola fueron modificadas y simplificadas...
Este modelo no luce feo, pero la esencia y pureza del prototipo fue un poco transgredida (sino burlada)...

El mundo de los coches es muy complicado, especialmente cuando están involucrados los carros exóticos...
Al menos el Contach 25º Aniversario fue dotado con un increíble motor Lamborghini V12, de 315 pulgadas cúbicas, 5.2 L, clasificado en 455 bhp y una velocidad máxima de 295 km/h...
¡Suena para mí como un premio de consolación, HA!...
Esta es una réplica diecast vintage y maravillosa, que pertenece a la Serie First Editions, lo que significa que fue la primera lanzada de este modelo y, por lo tanto, este es un artículo para coleccionistas, incluso teniendo en cuenta que es de una línea Regular.
Fue diseñado por Dave Wiese y tiene algunas similitudes con el molde del Lamborghini Countach, que está basado en un modelo anterior (probablemente el Lamborghini Countach LP 500S).
El modelo 25º Aniversario tiene un molde finamente detallado (lo cual no es siempre el caso con los diecast HW) y siendo el "debút", todo es nítido y limpio.
Es un hecho que cuando usas el mismo molde, una y otra vez, el diecast resultante empieza a perder definición en los detalles (por eso las últimas versiones lucen un poco "desgastadas" y las primeras ediciones son más nítidas).
Presenta carrocería en diecast y chasis en plástico negro.
El trabajo de pintura es simple pero fenomenal, en amarillo brillante policromado, que hace un buen contraste con los interiores negros (muy estándar, si me lo preguntan), los tampos aparecen solo en un diminuto logo de Hot Wheels en color dorado sobre el parabrisas y el diseño de rimes 5 Dot es muy fiel a los rimes reales.

An exceptional design doesn’t lack of tensions, even confrontations, among the different professionals/artists involved in its creation.

This company doesn’t mind creating controversy, indeed Ferruccio Lamborghini decided to create his first sports car, because of a controversy with another reputed and conceited sports cars creator: Enzo Ferrari...

Now, turning back to our main topic, this particular publication is about a groundbreaker car, a model that broke the history of the sports cars into two, not only for the most important brands related but for Lamborghini itself.
Is nothing more and nothing less than the Countach, more specifically the 1988 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary.
This extraordinary vehicle was created after the wonderful Lamborghini Miura and was the masterpiece of a young and unexperienced designer (at that time) of the Gruppo Bertone: Marcello Gandini (uhmmmm... Seems to be my favorite Italian car designer!).
Its wedge-shape is absolutely unique and so distinctive, that marked the parameter for the succeeding models until the present.
The Countach was (and is) different to anything in the market of the exotic cars, its modular / geometric / trapezoidal design, challenged the existing schemes about what a sports car should be.
The aesthetics was the main emphasis of the first prototype: the Lamborghini Countach LP 500, but it had numerous changes to improve the performance, aerodynamics, handling, ergonomics and other technical considerations.

Well, the Countach prototype was a delirious icon of the style for everybody, except the automotive engineers, who didn’t feel very confortable with its delicious extravagance.
The Countach evolved, but not necessarily became more beautiful than the original model released for the 1971 Geneva Motor Show.
The extremely sculptural design, incorporated more innovations, like the scissors doors (that can be opened just lifting and tilting them forward) or the aircraft-grade aluminium bodywork over a tubular space frame (very light but tremendously strong).
However, the original concept was progressively altered and for the 25th Anniversary’s model, were added and/or restyled several vents (necessary for the adequate engine’s cooling), fenders and moldings, the tail lights were modified and simplified...
This model doesn’t look ugly, but the essence and purity of the prototype was kinda transgressed (if not flouted)...
The old battle of the elegance and style against the technical and engineering superiority or the beauty against the beast =/////...
The world of cars is very complicated, specially when the exotic cars are involved...
At least the 25th Anniversary Countach was gifted with an incredible Lamborghini V12, 315 cu in, 5.2 L engine rated at 455 bhp and a top speed of 295 km/h...
Sounds for me like a consolation prize, LOL!...
This is a vintage and wonderful diecast replica belonging to the First Edition Series, which means that it was the first released of this model and hence, this is a collector’s item, even bearing in mind that is from a Regular line.
It was designed by Dave Wiese and has some similarities with the Lamborghini Countach cast, which is based on a previous model (probably the Lamborghini Countach LP 500S).
The 25th Anniversary model has a nicely detailed mold (which is not always the case with the HW diecast) and being the "debut", everything is sharp and neat.
As a matter of fact, when you use the same mold, over and over again, the diecast resulting begin to lose definition in details (that’s why the latest versions look a bit "off" and the first editions are sharper).
It features diecast body with black plastic chassis.
The paint job is simple but awesome in bright yellow polychrome, which make a good contrast with the black interiors (very standard, if you ask me), the tampos appear only in a tiny Hot Wheels logo in golden color on the windshield and the 5 Dot wheels design is very faithful to the actual wheels.
